10.Lizzie

In 1892, after the Borden family welcomes a new Irish maid called Bridget Sullivan, she and Lizzie become friends. The friendship between these women becomes something more, even as Lizzie’s relationship with her own parents unravels at a frightening level. If you want something different that based on a true story this is ideal for you, it will divided people but it is well made.

9.Suspiria (2018)

Against the backdrop of violent political unrest in a perpetually gloomy 1977 Berlin, sheltered Mennonite and ambitious dancer Susie Bannion arrives at the prestigious Helena Markos Dance Academy, right after the mysterious disappearance of a trouble student. Artsy but weird psychological horror film that ticked all the boxes, the pacing is just right and it has got a good cast and it is one of those film that is so memorable, it will leave you a lasting impression on you.

8.Viceroy’s House

In 1947, Lord Mountbatten assumes the post of last Viceroy, charged with handing India back to its people, living upstairs at the house which was the home of British rulers, whilst 500 Hindu and Sikh servants lived downstairs. Fascinating and insightful film with a good story and overall the acting is extraordinary, it is gorgeous to look at in this well-intentioned film.

7.Patti Cake$

Patti Cake$ is centred on aspiring rapper Patricia Dombrowski, aka Killa P, aka Patti Cake$, who is fighting an unlikely quest for glory in her downtrodden hometown in New Jersey. Definitely one of the most surprisingly film as I’m not normally into this type of film, it has got a lot of eccentric characters and it is really powerful, in some ways this is uplifting and it will charmed you.

6.Early Man

Early Man tells the story of Dug, along with sidekick Hognob as they unite his tribe against a mighty enemy Lord Nooth and his Bronze Age City to save their home. Everything about this film will put a smile on your face and it is light-hearted, it is an all-British film and it is really funny and charming film that is suitable for all ages, it is likeable in this really cute and a really nice film.

5.Tenet

Armed with only one word, Tenet, and fighting for the survival of the entire world, a Protagonist journeys through a twilight world of international espionage on a mission that will unfold in something beyond real time. Clever, cool, and thought provoking that will made you think in this thrill ride type of film, it is well casted and the pacing is perfect and overall this will entertained you from start to finish.

4.Isle Of Dogs

On the island, a young boy named Atari sets out to find his lost dog, spots, with the help of five other dogs with so many obstacles along the way. Being a Wes Anderson film I was unsure about this film, I was totally wrong as it is strangely moving and it is truly unique and different which I admire, it is one of those film that will drawn you in automatically and it is watchable.

3.Churchill

Ninety-six hours before the World War II invasion of Normandy, British Prime Minister Winston Churchill struggles with his severe reservations with Operation Overlord and his increasingly marginalized role in the war effort. Having watching Darkest Hour this one is totally different and it is sincere, the opening scene is certainly memorable and all the acting is amazing in this eye-catching film.

2.Eye In The Sky

Col. Katherine Powell, a military officer in command of an operation to capture terrorists in Kenya, sees her mission escalate when a girl enters the kill zone triggering an international dispute over the implications of modern warfare. Generally unpredictable and it is tense, claustrophobia and it will moved you, it is a brilliant story in this gripping and exciting film which is real and honest and especially the ending.

1.The Breadwinner

In 2001, Afghanistan is under the control of the Taliban. When her father is captured, a determined young girl disguises herself as a boy in order to provide for her family. Just simply breath-taking as this will moved you, it is poignancy and it is silently powerful and this film will wowed you. The animation is gorgeous to look at in this superbly made and sincere film.
