Tom & Jerry: The Movie

A chaotic battle ensues between Jerry Mouse, who has taken refuge in the royal Gate Hotel, and Tom Cat, who is hired to drive him away before the day of a big wedding arrives. On paper this a great ideal and I thought I going to like this film, but overall it doesn’t really entertained you or hold your interested, Personally I don’t think the whole film actually worked and to be fair with Chloe Grace Moretz she try really hard, despite that it is a real disappointing.

Arthur Christmas

Santa’s clumsy son Arthur sets out on a mission with Grandsanta to give out a present they misplace to a young girl in less than two hours. Normally with Aardman they are consistent and funny, but with this one is the weakest and it never laugh out loud and the vocal talent is nothing amazing, it is one of those film that has got potential but it doesn’t deliver with this film.

Jungle Cruise

Based on a Disneyland’s theme park ride where a small riverboat takes a group of travellers through a jungle filled with dangerous animals and reptiles but with a supernatural element. Personally this is well made and it got a good cast with a really good story and the visual is outstanding, the thing is the chemistry between the two lead isn’t there and the villain is not memorable enough, it also got a director who not used to the fantasy element but it still entertaining enough.

A Quiet Place 2

Following the events at home, the Abbott family now face the terrors of the outside world. Forced to venture into the unknown, they realize the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats lurking beyond the sand paths. This psychological horror movie is generally sincere and moving at the same time, the acting is really convincing and unfortunately it doesn’t have that intensity from the first film and with some undeveloped characters, the ending is poor as well but despite that it still a really good film.

I only know Jungle Cruise on this list and it was better than I thought it was going to be. 3 * is about right.
