Too be honest with you I haven’t see this film for ages and I got it from a library while I’m growing up, Tom Hanks is a likeable lead and the story is fantastic and it does hold your interest, the pacing is just perfect and overall it is a well – made film.

The true feel – good story of how James Bowen, a busker and recovering drug addict, has his life transformed when he meets a stray ginger cat. Based on the international best-selling book. A well-intentioned film which is surprisingly moving, being based on a true story which I didn’t know about and it is sad but uplifting type of film, which you certainly needed.

8.The Elephant Man

A Victorian surgeon rescues a heavily disfigured man who is mistreated while scraping a living as a side – show freak. Behind his monstrous façade, there is revealed a person of kindness, intelligence, and sophistication. In this film it has got a theme of loneliness and isolation plus this is sincere, moving, and powerful at the same time, it is well casted in a superbly made film.

7.Everybody’s Fine

A widower who realized his only connection to his family was through his wife set off on an impromptu road trip to reunite with each of his grown children. Real, honest, and relatable film that people will connect to, it is touching and all the acting is amazing and if you wanted a film about loneliness and searching for family members, this is ideal for you.

6.I Am Legend

Years after a plague kills most of humanity and transforms the rest into monsters, the sole survivor in New York City struggles valiantly to find a cure. One of the best Will Smith film as he is really good in this film, the best thing in this film is the multi-layered story that just simply work and that is the key to this film, it is character driven with a mixture of CGI/SFX that is simply amazing.

5.Nomadland

A woman in her sixties, after losing everything in the Great Recession, embarks on a journey through the American West, living as a van – dwelling modern day nomad. Inspiration film, which is close to my heart, it also about choosing your own paths and don’t let anyone influence you and the scenery is outstanding, being on a getaway to clear your mind and get off somewhere far but without people, sometimes you just needed a film to do that and this is ideal for you.

4.Gravity

Dr Ryan Stone and Matt Kowalski work together to survive after an accident leaves them stranded in space. What would you do if you get stuck in space? Being on your own and that is a question in a captivating film, it will thrilled you and entertained you as well and it is well – casted and overall this is truly spectacular and with amazing set pieces, it is certainly very watchable from start to finish.

3.Away (2019)

A boy and a little bird are travelling across an island on a motorcycle trying to escape a dark spirit and return home. I remember the first time I watched this animation film and it certainly wowed me, the animation itself look gorgeous and it is strangely moving and it is certainly memorable plus for me personally this is underrated and it definitely intriguing from the start.

A filmmaker forges an unusual friendship with an octopus living in a South African kelp forest, learning as the animal shares the mysteries of her world. An amazing documentary which is sincere and generally powerful, it is one of those documentary which leave you a lasting impression on you, the underwater aspect is stunning and this is so memorable from the first frame.

1.WALL.E

In the distant future, a small waste – collecting robot inadvertently embarks on a space journey that will ultimately decide the fate of mankind. Definitely this is my number one film for this category as it about loneliness, Pixar is normally consistent and this is heartfelt and moving at the same time, it also suitable for all ages and a family viewing and you would connect with these characters as it is funny and with an easy-to-follow story.
