10.The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug
The dwarves, along with Bilbo Baggins and Gandalf the Grey, continue their quest to reclaim Erebor, their homeland, from Smaug. Bilbo Baggins is in possession of a mysterious and magical ring. Truly epic and this film will certainly draw you in from the first frame, this is entertaining from start to finish, it is well casted and this is definitely much better than Lord Of The Ring.
9.Jurassic World
A new theme park, built on the original site of Jurassic Park, creates a genetically modified hybrid dinosaur, the Indominus Rex, which escapes containment and goes on a killing spree. A thrill ride type of film which is generally exciting, it also got amazing set pieces and this is just entertaining and it has got a fantastic story, it might be brutal but it also exciting at the same time.
8.Mission Impossible 2
IMF agent Ethan Hunt is sent to Sydney to find and destroy a genetically modified disease called “Chimera”. Definitely this is action packed and with the chemistry between Tom Cruise and Thandiwe Newton is superb, the good thing about this film it never get too overcomplicated and it is simple to follow, it is well casted in this thrilling but superbly crafted action film.
7.Skyfall
James Bond’s loyalty to M is tested when her past comes back to haunt her. When M16 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost. So definitely this is the best James Bond film, the villain is certainly memorable and it has got a multi layered story and the ending is perfect, the pacing is just right and it does hold your interested.
6.The Hunger Game: Catching Fire
Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark become targets of the Capitol after their victory in the 74th Hunger Games sparks a rebellion in the Districts of Panem. It is one of those film that is intriguing and the lead is likeable, as it based on a book it doesn’t really matter if you haven’t read the book itself, if you like an action film with a story this film is ideal for you.
5.Indiana Jones And The Temple Of Doom
In 1935, Indiana Jones arrives in India, still part of the British Empire, and is asked to find a mystical stone. He then stumbles upon a secret cult committing enslavement and human sacrifices in the catacombs of an ancient palace. My childhood film as I actually growing up watching this film and I still love this film, this is the ultimate action film as it is old school type of film but it still exciting.
4.Homeward Bound 2
When adventurous pets Chance, Shadow and Sassy are accidentally separated from their vacationing owners, they’re left to fend for themselves on the mean streets of San Francisco. Enjoyable and a charming film which is suitable for a family viewing type of film and overall it just a really nice film, this is definitely not suitable for cynical type of people but this is so underrated.
3.Shrek 2
Shrek and Fiona travel to the Kingdom of Far Far Away, where Fiona’s parents are King and Queen, to celebrate their marriage. When they arrive, they find they are not as welcome as they thought they would be. Joyous and fun and this film is pure escapism and it has got a cute message of appearances, the vocal talent is outstanding and brim with comic one liner and star-studded cast.
2.The Second-Best Exotic Marigold Hotel
As the Best Exotic Marigold Hotel has only a single remaining vacancy, posing a rooming predicament for two fresh arrivals, Sonny Kapoor pursues his expansionist dream of opening a second hotel. It is one of those film that will put a smile to your face and it is generally funny and life affirming, you actually care about with these characters and it just a charming film.
1.Kung Fu Panda 2
Po and his friends fight to stop a peacock villain from conquering China with a deadly new weapon, but first the Dragon Warrior must come to terms with his past. Cute and relatable film which is colourful, the voice cast is excellent and brim with comic one liner and with a bunch of eccentric characters, it also got a believe in yourself message which people will connect to and overall it is fun and enjoyable which is suitable for all ages
