10.Spirited Away

During her family’s move to the suburbs, a sullen 10-year-old girl wanders into a world ruled by gods, witches, and spirits, and where humans are changed into beasts. Underneath the weirdness and the surreal moment there is a beautiful story, at least this film is totally memorable and the visual is certainly outstanding, overall this is an intriguing and watchable film.
9.The Great Mouse Detective

In Victorian London, England, Basil the rodent Sherlock Holmes, investigates the kidnapping of a toy maker and uncovers its link to his archenemy, Professor Ratigan. An old fashion type of film that will drawn you in from the first frame, also the villain is truly memorable and the animation itself look gorgeous, it is one of those film with a great story and it does hold your interested.
8.The Princess And The Frog

A waitress, desperate to fulfil her dreams as a restaurant owner, is set on a journey to turn a frog prince back into a human being, but she has to face the same problem after she kisses him. Diversity type of film which is important, plus the Jazz soundtrack is absolutely amazing and with eccentric characters, there are comic one liner and the vocal talent is superb in this well-made film.
7.Mary And The With Flower

Mary is an ordinary young girl stuck in the country with her Great – Aunt Charlotte, she stumbles across a mysterious cat into the nearby forest to find a rare plant and an old broomstick, Mary go on an adventure. This will wowed you and it feel totally epic and this is surprisingly really good and totally engrossing, it definitely rewatchable and it doesn’t feel rushed and the pacing is just right.
6.The Fox And The Hound

A little fox named Tod, and Cooper, a hound puppy, vow to be best buddies forever. But as Cooper grows into a hunting dog, their unlikely friendship faces the ultimate test. Beautifully tale of an unlikely friendship and I can connect to that aspect, it also an important message for kids and adults and the story is easy to follow, it is one of those film you can revisited anytime you wanted.
5.Away (2019)

A boy crashes and finds himself on a strange island with his motorbike, where he quickly befriends a bird. Together they cross the various landscapes of the isle in search of their home. Quietly powerful and this film is actually enjoyable, it actually drawn you in from start to finish and it will wowed you and the visual is amazing, it is pure escapism and you can go on a journey with this film.
4.My Neighbour Totoro

When two girls move to the country to be near their ailing mother, they have adventures with the wondrous forest spirits who live nearby. Sweet and charming film which will pull a smile to people faces, it actually about growing up and adolescent and I’m sure people will connect to this film and it is generally moving, it is sincere and quietly powerful as it is sad but it also full of happiness.
3.The Breadwinner

In 2001, Afghanistan is under the control of the Taliban. When her father is captured, a determined young girl disguises herself as a boy in order to provide for her family. Not normally into hand drawn type of animation films, but this film actually change my mind as I’m really into them, this film is brilliant and it is sincere and it might be hard to watch, but it is dreamlike and magical.
2.Klaus

A simple act of kindness always sparks another, even in a frozen, faraway place. When Smeerensburg’s new postman, Jesper, befriends toymaker Klaus, their gifts melt an age – old feud and deliver a sleigh full of holiday traditions. Gorgeous looking film which is suitable for all ages and a family viewing, the ending is poignancy and moving and overall this is a feel-good film, the characters are great and it is a Christmas film and it just a really nice film.
1.Only Yesterday

A twenty-seven-year-old office worker travels to the countryside while reminiscing about her childhood in Tokyo. Life affirming and relatable film as it basically about looking back on life and I can connect with that, it is beautiful and it will leaves you a lasting impression on you as it is superbly made, it also real and honest film that will touch your heart and it doesn’t feel forced.
