10.Tormented

Justine discovers that Darren had a crush on her and was bullied by Bradley and his friends including Alexis. When each one of Bradley’s friends is found dead, they discover that Darren has returned from beyond to revenge the humiliations he was submitted to. With some comedy horror film they doesn’t really work, with this one it work perfectly and it will divided people, the pacing is just right and overall this is well – made.
9. A Cinderella Story

Routinely exploited by her wicked stepmother, the downtrodden Samantha Montgomery is excited about meeting her internet beau at the school’s Halloween dance. Not really suitable for cynical type of person, if you into romantic film this is ideal for you as it got a likeable lead and the soundtrack is fantastic, it is a feel-good type of film and it just a really nice film.
8.Wild Child

Since Malibu brat Poppy Moore’s mum passed away, she has pushes her rich, usually absent dad Gerry shamelessly. When his patience wears out, she shipped off to her mother’s former English boarding school for girls. Spot on casting and this film is well intentioned plus the film itself is well – meaning, it might be too predictable for some people but it still charming and likeable film, also it didn’t take itself too seriously, this is a beautiful rom – coms and this is the ultimate date movie.
7.Sky High

Being the son of two superheroes, young Will Stronghold is sent to attend high school at the orbiting Sky High, which is a school for kids with superpowers and become superheroes. This is a clever spin on the superheroes films, this also entertaining from start to finish and this is a watchable film, it might be predictable but it also exciting and this is a family viewing film.
6.Easy A

A clean-cut high school student relies on the school’s rumour mil to advance her social and financial standing. Personally I connect to this film as it basically about your reputation and what people thinking about you, the acting is amazing and especially Emma Stone, it got an all star cast that brim with comic one liner, it might not be subtle but this is strangely moving and sincere.
5.School Of Rock

After being kicked out of his rock band, Dewey Finn becomes a substitute teacher at an uptight elementary private school, only to try and turn his class into a rock band. Underdog type of film which is a crowd pleaser film, it is one of those film that is fun and uplifting plus this is definitely a joyous film, it is stupid but in a good way, this is a rainy-day type of film and it is entertaining.

3.Inside Out

After young Riley is uprooted from her Midwest life and moved to San Francisco, her emotions Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house, and school. Visually this is stunning and the whole idea to this film is genius, it also moved you and it is colourful, it also about growing up and your adolescent and I’m sure people will connect with this film, it is heartfelt and this actually touch my heart as I connect with this film.
2.Love, Simon

Simon Spier keeps a huge secret from his family, his friends and all of his classmates: he’s gay. When that secret is threatened, Simon must face everyone and come to terms with his identity. One of the most moving film that I encounter and Nick Robinson is superb and the rest of the acting is brilliant, it is life affirming and this is the type of film that is memorable and it is likeable, overall this is a slow burner and this is definitely worthwhile your time and just watch this film.
1.Monsters University

A look at the relationship between Mike Wazowski and James P. “Sully” Sullivan during their days at Monsters University, when they weren’t necessarily the best of friends. Relaxed and not too hyperactive like with certain animation films, this is laugh out loud funny and the vocal to this film is superb, it got eccentric characters that are lovable and it will made you smile from start to finish and this is pure escapism.
I’m not a fan of American High School films, but I have watched School of Rock several times.
I’m going to go out on a limb here and recommend some British films based in high (or senior) schools. And, as usual, they go back further than your suggestions.
Goodbye Mr Chips (1939) – an elderly teacher looks back on his life.
To Sir with Love (1967) – social and racial issues in an inner city school. Stars Sidney Poitier.
If . . . (1968) – based in an elite public school and some of the students rebel.
Gregory’s Girl (1981) – teenage boy infatuated with girl.
Kes (1969) – although about a boy’s relationship with a hawk, a lot of the story takes place in school.
The History Boys (2006) – Adapted from the stage play follows a group of boys preparing for Oxford entrance exams.
I’m going to include one American film:
Dead Poets Society (1989) – stars Robin Williams as an unconventional teacher.
