1.Batman (2005 – 2012)

As a boy, a young Bruce Wayne watched in horror as his millionaire parents were slain in front of his eyes, a trauma which led him to become obsessed with revenge, so he dressed up as Batman to fight crime. Having seen the older Batman films this version is truly spectacular and it more psychological, the villains are memorable and generally sinister and all the films feel rather epic and the pacing is just perfect, it is action packed plus it have that character development and that is the key to those films.
Now we’re talking. One of the best, if not the best, Director around today. His films are always interesting and good to watch. Having said that, your list makes me realise that I still haven’t seen his Batman trilogy.
I would have to add to your list though:
Memento – I know you weren’t so keen but in my all time top 5.
Insomnia – great performances by Al Pacino and Robin Williams
The Prestige – a bit of magic!

That is true about Christopher Nolan as he is consistent, you will definitely like his version of the Batman films, his version is very character driven and it has got a psychological edge. I like the sound of Insomnia as I’m a fan of Robin Williams, I also watched out for The Prestige and especially Insomnia
