5.Interstellar

A team of explorers travel through a wormhole in space in an attempt to ensure humanity’s survival. Firstly, I know Michael Caine have a smaller role in this film but this is watchable, the acting is amazing and the main lead is likeable and this is really intriguing, it is one of those film that drawn you in straight away and the film itself look gorgeous.
4.Journey 2: The Mysterious Island

Sean Anderson partners with his mom’s husband on a mission to find his grandfather, who is thought to be missing on a mythical island. This is one of those film which is pure escapism and it is entertaining, it also brims with comic one liner and this is generally funny plus it is a rainy-day type of film, it is colorful and this is also a family viewing type of film.
3.Inception

A thief who steals corporate secrets through the use of dream – sharing technology is given the inverse task of planting an idea into the mind of a C.EO., but his tragic past may doom the project and his team to disaster. For me personally it’s the visual that is eye catching and this is a thought-provoking film, it got an all – star cast and Michael Caine got a smaller role in this film but the acting is really convincing, it might not be for everyone but I really like the idea to this film.
2.Going In Style

Desperate to pay the bills and come through for their loved ones, three lifelong pals risk it all by embarking on a daring bid to knock off the very bank that absconded with their money. Cute and a heartwarming film that will touch your heart, it is moving and it never feel forced or too sentimental as this is a feel-good type of film, this is definitely memorable and overall, it will pull a smile to people faces.
1.The Dark Knight Trilogy

As a boy, a young Bruce Wayne watched in horror as his millionaire parents were slain in front of his eyes, a trauma which led him to become obsessed with revenge. Definitely one of the best superhero films which has got a brilliant story, it is well paced and it has got that psychological edge and that work really well, it is character driven and all the villains is certainly memorable plus the casting is spot on and especially Michael Caine as the butler, this is superb and watchable.
Michael Caine has had a long career and has 176 acting credits on IMDB. With that in mind, it would be difficult just to pick 5 films, and as usual I have gone further back in time and have made my selections from the 1960s – 1980s.
1. Zulu (1964) – the film that first made him a star. Classic based on the true story of the battle of Rorke’s Drift.
2. The Ipcress File (1965) – very different sort of spy to James Bond.
3. Funeral in Berlin (1966) – follow up to the successful Ipcress File
4. Alfie (1966) – classic 1960s film
5. The Italian Job (1969) – one of the first films with a cliffhanger ending (literally). Much better than the remake.
6. Get Carter (1971) – Hard man from London goes to Newcastle to avenge the death of his brother.
7. Sleuth (1972) – Two hander acting masterclass with Laurence Olivier.
8. The Man Who Would Be King (1975) – great adventure yarn with Sean Connery
9. Dressed to Kill (1980) – thriller with unusual twist at the end.
10. Educating Rita (1983) – another different kind of role as a university tutor, also stars Julie Walters.
Have fun with those. All classic films.
