5.House Of Wax

A group of teens are unwittingly stranded near a strange wax museum and soon must fight to survive and keep from becoming the next exhibit. Perfectly paced film that doesn’t feel rushed and take its time, the six main leads are likeable and it is well – made with a scary and sinister villain, it might not be everyone taste of film but it does have a backstory like with the wax museum, it is action packed but it certainly holds your interest.
4.The Shallows

A mere 200 yards from shore, surfer Nancy is attacked by a great white shark, with her short journey to safety becoming the ultimate contest of wills. Definitely one of the better shark films as you actually care with the main lead, the flashback elements never get too overcomplicated and it flow really well, this will certainly divided people as some will like this and some don’t but the ending to this film is silently powerful.
3.Non – Stop

An air marshal springs into action during a transatlantic flight after receiving a series of text messages demanding $150 million into an off – shore account, or someone will die every 20 minutes. This film might be daft and silly toward the end but this is entertaining from start to finish, it also a thrill ride type of film as it is generally exciting, it is well casted and they are really convincing and that what made this film really good.
2.Jungle Cruise

Based on Disneyland’s theme park ride where a small riverboat takes a group of travelers through a jungle filled with dangerous animals and reptiles but with a supernatural element. Gorgeous looking film with stunning scenery, the chemistry between Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt is superb, it also didn’t take itself too seriously and this is pure escapism plus it is enjoyable, overall, this is suitable for a rainy day as it certainly capture your imagination.
1.Orphan

A husband and wife who recently lost their baby adopt a 9-year-old girl who is not nearly as innocent as she appears. One of the best psychological horror films as this got a brilliant twist that work really well, it is well casted and they are really convincing and the story is certainly spot on, it is one of those film that drawn you in automatically and this is certainly well – made.
I wasn’t aware of this Director. I saw Jungle Cruise and it was better than I thought it was going to be.

Jaume Collet – Serra isn’t a big named director and that is the reason why I follow him, I was actually surprised with Jungle Cruise as well, it was actually a really good film.
