When the geriatric ward in a small Yorkshire hospital threatened with closure, the hospital decides to fight back by galvanizing the local community: they invite a news crew to film their preparations for a concert in honor of the hospital’s most distinguished nurse. To be honest with you I was surprised with this film and it is well casted, it is one of those film that might now draw you in from the start, for me personally the first hour is rather patchy and it doesn’t gel and flow together. The second hour is definitely much better and the twist in this film is superb, the ending is amazing and totally memorable and it is a slow burner type of film, once you get past the first hour it is actually a really good film. Overall don’t judge this film and once you watch this it will actually surprise you as well.
