Not my favourite genre, but I would add these classics to your list:
The Wizard of Oz – has to be the number 1 fantasy film
Time Bandits – Time travel and John Cleese comedy – what’s not to like?
Labyrinth and Shape of Water – both directed by one of our favourite directors
The Purple Rose of Cairo – the ultimate fantasy of real people moving in to a film and vice versa. Directed by Woody Allen
Not forgetting the all time great – Jason and the Argonauts.
