10.Johnny English (2003 – 2018)

After a sudden attack on M15, Johnny English, Britain’s most confident, yet unintelligent spy, becomes Britain’s only spy and go on numerous missions to catch the bad guys. Some people will like this and some don’t as it will divide people, it got a likeable main lead and these films are well casted and this is entertaining, these films are consistent and overall, it can be rather funny.
9.Man On A Ledge

As a police psychologist works to talk down an ex – con who is threatening to jump from a Manhattan hotel rooftop, the biggest diamond heist ever committed is in motion. The thing is with this film the action might be slightly over the top, but the idea to this film is simply brilliant and it never get too overcomplicated with the flashback element, it is exciting and the acting is convincing.
8.Judge Dredd

In a dystopian future, Joseph Dredd, the most famous judge (a police officer with instant field judiciary powers), is convicted for a crime he did not commit and must face his murderous counterpart. Not normally a massive fan of Sylvester Stallone but this is a good film, it also didn’t take itself too seriously and overall, the story is fantastic, it is majestic and this is superbly made.
7.Stormbreaker

After the death of his uncle, the 14-year-old schoolboy Alex Rider is forced by the Special Operations Division of the UK’s secret intelligence service, M16, into a mission which will save millions of lives. Quietly this will surprise people as it is action packed but it never loses the story, it also got an all – stars cast and this is enjoyable, the henchman is memorable as Andy Serkis is silently good in his role, this film is easy to watch and the main lead is likeable as this is superb.
6.Speed 2: Cruise Control

A computer hacker breaks into the computer system of the Seabourn Legend cruise liner and sets it speeding on a collision course into a gigantic oil tanker. Perfectly paced film and the villain itself is certainly memorable, it also well casted and they are convincing in their role and this film in general is eye catching from start to finish, the chemistry between the two lead is spot on and this film deserve a chance, as this is a well-made film with good intentions.
5.Unstoppable

With an unmanned, half mile long freight train barrelling toward a city, a veteran engineer, and a young conductor race against the clock to prevent a catastrophe. Maybe with some people might find this too predictable, it is watchable from the first frame and this also character driven like with the main two lead, it is one of those film with a load of amazing set pieces and it also suitable for a rainy-day type of film, overall, this is well – made and it is generally exciting with this superb film.
4.Charlie’s Angels

When a young systems engineer blows the whistle on a dangerous technology, Charlie’s Angels are called into action, putting their lives on the line to protect us all. Of all the action film this surprise me as I didn’t think I would enjoy this, I was completely wrong as this is action packed but it never loses the story, for me personally I don’t get the hate for this as the intentions is there and the three-lead got superb chemistry together, this is so underrated as this is a superbly made film.
3.Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Four teenage mutant ninja turtles emerge from the shadows to protect New York City from a gang of criminal ninjas. Remember this in my childhood as I grow up watching this film, this has got old fashioned CGI/SFX that is so realistic and this might be rather dated, it is colourful and it attractive to look at and it will draw you in, plus this is totally pure escapism and rainy-day type of film.
2.Zorro (1998 – 2005)

The legendary Zorro goes off on another adventure to protect the future of California and its citizens. This time, he fights against evil – doers with the help of his beautiful wife, Elena, and their precocious young son, Joaquin. Underneath the action there is a beautiful film with stunning views and it is well casted, the story is spot on and it has got a brilliant cast and both films are consistent, for me personally the pacing is perfect and it does hold your interest as this is watchable.
1.Mulan

A girl disguises as a male warrior and joins the imperial army to prevent her sick father from being forced to enlist as he has no male heir. With stunning scenery and this film is eye catching and the set pieces is amazing, it is heartfelt and it will move you and you will care about with these characters, it can be generally funny and this is charming as this is one of the best action films, it is character driven and this is the ultimate action film as well because of those reason.
Most of the action films I know are well known and were not underrated. The only one I can add to the list I gave last time is The Naked Prey (1965). Check out the trailer on You tube. Definitely different and underrated.
