10.The Farewell

A Chinese family discovers their grandmother has only a short while left to live and decide to keep her in the dark, scheduling a wedding to gather before she dies. For me personally it’s the acting that made this film rather good, Nora Lum is likeable in her role and isn’t feel too sentimental and often it is generally powerful, it is a well – made film and overall, this will draw you in from start to finish, it might not be ground-breaking but it still a good film and this is well – meaning.

9.Big

After wishing to be made big, a teenage boy wakes the next morning to find himself mysteriously in the body of an adult. At first, I wasn’t keen with this film and once I think back this is a good film, I really like the idea to this film and it try to be something different which I admire, this is enjoyable and it might be rather dated for some people, but this is a likeable, enjoyable, and watchable film.

8.Little Women (2019)

Jo March reflects back and forth on her life, telling the beloved story of the March sisters four young women, each determined to live life on her own term. It is one of those film that doesn’t draw you in, but once you get past that it still a good film, it has got an all – stars cast and all of them are convincing and this is easy to watch, the story is fantastic and the film in general is well – made.

7.Wonder Woman

When a pilot crashes and tells of conflict in the outside world, Diana, an Amazonian warrior in training, leaves home to fight a war, discovering her full powers and true destiny. Gorgeous looking film with stunning scenery, it is action packed but it never loses the story and this certainly holds your interest, there are amazing set pieces and this is entertaining from start to finish and the main lead is likeable, it is epic and the pacing is spot on and overall, this is the ultimate action film.

6.Herbie Fully Loaded

Maggie Peyton, the new owner of Herbie, Number 53, the free – wheeling Volkswagen bug with a mind of its own, puts the car through its paces on the road to becoming a NASCAR competitor. Being a remake, this will divide people as some will like this and some don’t, it is an underdog type of film and it will made people happy, it might be too predictable for some people and this can be heartfelt and it can be funny, it is a nice film and this is heart-warming and an uplifting film.

5.Charlie’s Angels (2019)

When a young systems engineer blows the whistle on a dangerous technology, Charlie’s Angels are called into action, putting their lives on the line to protect us all. Don’t really get the hate for this film as this surprised me, the three lead has got great chemistry together and this film didn’t take itself too seriously, the story is there and the film in general is well – casted and this is certainly entertaining, it will divide people but it is one of those film that is watchable and easy to watch.

4.The Secret Garden

A young, recently – orphaned girl is sent to England after living in India all her life. Once there, she begins to explore her new, seemingly isolated surroundings, and its secrets. Calming type of film and I growing up watching this film, it is a family viewing type of film and this is charming and beautiful film that will touch your heart, the acting in general is brilliant and they are likeable and it has a beautiful story, it will move you and this doesn’t feel too sentimental as it is perfectly made.

3.The Unlikely Pilgrimage Of Harold Fry

Harold is an ordinary man who has passed through life, living on the side lines, until he goes to post a letter one day and just keeps walking. Everything about this film certainly ticked all the boxes as it got that emotional impact, the story is there and this is sad, happy, and uplifting film despite of the subject matter, you care about with these characters and this is a slow burner film that will slowly draw you in, it will leave you a lasting impression on you as this is memorable.

2.Abominable

Three teenagers must help a Yeti return to his family while avoiding a wealthy man and a zoologist who want him for their own needs. Having watch this in the cinema I thought this film is cute and heart-warming, it might not be for everyone taste but this is pure escapism and this is eye catching from the start, this is suitable for all ages and a family viewing plus it can be funny and the scenery look amazing, this is a nice film and this is simply a feel-good experience which you needed.

1.Mulan

A girl disguises as a male warrior and joins the imperial army to prevent her sick father from being forced to enlist as he has no male heir. Just breath-taking as this is enjoyable and there are spectacular set pieces, it is action packed but it never loses the story and the pacing is perfect and this is entertaining, the scenery looks amazing and the main lead is likeable and this is generally funny and it is well – casted, this is a rainy-day type of film and this is pure escapism.
