5.Unstoppable

With an unmanned, half mile long freight train barrelling toward a city, a veteran engineer, and a young conductor race against the clock to prevent a catastrophe. Some people might think this is too predictable and too action packed, but underneath it all there is a good story and the chemistry between the main two lead is spot on, it is entertaining and it is one of those film which is pure escapism, it might not be ground-breaking but it still exciting at the same time.

4.Star Trek (2009 – 2016)

Getting through the first half of their five – year mission, Captain Kirk and the USS Enterprise crew now venture into uncharted territories. All these films are consistent and it didn’t take itself too seriously, it got an all – star cast and they all totally convincing and Simon Pegg is absolutely hilarious, all the villains is memorable and there are amazing set pieces and this is enjoyable.

3.Spider – Man Into The Spider – Verse

Teen Miles Morales becomes the Spider – Man of his universe and must join with five spider – powered individuals from other dimensions to stop a threat for all realities. Firstly, I know Chris Pine have a smaller role in this film, I really admire this film as it tries to be something different and it certainly work, it never gets too overcomplicated with the flashback element and this is a thrill ride type of film, this also suitable for a rainy-day type of film and this is superbly made.

2.The Finest Hours

The coast guard makes a daring rescue attempt off the coast of Cape Cod after a pair of oil tankers are destroyed during a blizzard in 1952. I personally enjoy true story type of film and this is one of the best one, the acting is amazing and it is one of those film that will slowly draw you in and this is totally unpredictable, the story is fantastic and the pacing is perfect as it certainly holds your interest, for me personally this is so underrated as this is a surprisingly a really good film.

1.Rise Of The Guardians

When the evil spirit Pitch launches an assault on Earth, the Immortal Guardians team up to protect the innocence of children all around the world. Gorgeous looking film with stunning scenery plus this has got great characters, this is eye catching from start to finish and this is generally powerful but it never feels forced, it can be funny and the vocal talent in this film is spot on and that is the key to this film, this is also suitable for all ages and this is pure escapism.
