10.Philadelphia

When a man with HIV is fired by his law firm because of his condition, he hires a homophobic small-time lawyer as the only willing advocate for a wrongful dismissal suit. The story to this film is superb and the soundtrack is amazing especially Bruce Springsteen song Philadelphia, it is well casted and this film is well made and overall and it might be rather dated for some people, it is one of those film that is memorable and this is a good film.
9.Brokeback Mountain

Ennis and Jack are two shepherds who develop a sexual and emotional relationship. Their relationship becomes complicated when both get married to their respectful girlfriends. Once I first watched this film I wasn’t a massive fan. But now when I think back this is a superbly made film and it has got an all-star cast, the chemistry is there between Jake Gyllenhaal and Heath Ledger and the film itself look gorgeous with stunning scenery.
8.The Imitation Game

During World War II, the English mathematical genius Alan Turing tries to crack the German Enigma code with help from fellow mathematicians while attempting to come to terms with his troubled private life. With this film this is totally unpredictable and it has got a likeable lead, this is one of those film that blended the war element and that does work, this is intriguing and it slowly drawn you in and it also based on a true story, this a good film with good intention.
7.A Secret Love

Falling in love in 1947, two women Pat Henschel and pro baseball player Terry Donahue begin a 65-year journey of love and overcoming prejudice. Memorable documentary that has got a superb topic, this doesn’t feel forced or too sentimental as this is generally heart-breaking as this can be moving, it might be too predictable for some people but this is generally heartfelt, this is a beautiful documentary and this will capture people heart.
6.Call Me By Your Name

In 1980s Italy, romance blossoms between a seventeen-year-old student and the older man hired as his father’s research assistant. Personally, I was surprised with this film as I didn’t think I would enjoy it, this is generally beautiful and it have got some nice moment in this film, the acting is amazing and they are convincing in their roles, I just think in general you should give this film a chance and you be surprised as well.
5.Supernova (2020)

Sam and Tusker are travelling across England in their old RV to visit friends, family, and places from their past. Since Tusker was diagnosed with dementia two years ago, their time together is the most important thing they have. For me personally it’s the chemistry between Colin Firth and Stanley Tucci that made this film, it has got a beautiful ending and the film in general is underrated and the acting is convincing, you will care about with these characters as this is superbly made.
4.Strange World

The legendary Clades are a family of explorers whose differences threatens to topic their latest and most crucial mission. Not all people think this is an LGBTQ film but pay attention toward the end of this film, this is suitable for all ages and a family viewing as this is pure escapism and this is generally heartfelt, the animation itself is eye catching and it has got great characters and this can be funny, this is a simple and a nice film and I’m sure people will find this enjoyable.
3.Uncle Frank

In 1973, when Frank Bledsoe and his 18-year-old niece Beth take a road trip from Manhattan to Creekville, South Carolina, for the family patriarch’s funeral, they’re unexpectedly joined by Frank’s lover, Walid. I personally think it might be hard hitting for some people but this film needed that. It about life in general and this is silently powerful as this is moving, the casting is perfect and this is relatable and it will touch people heart, this is wonderful and this is simply heartfelt.
2.Love, Simon

Simon Spier keeps a huge secret from his family, his friends and all his classmates: he’s gay. When that secret is threatened, Simon must face everyone and come to terms with his identity. Relatable, honest, and real film that I personally connect to, this is joyous and uplifting film that will made you smile, the acting is brilliant and the film itself is likeable as this is a feel-good experience with a coming-of-age aspect, people will relate to this film as this is memorable.
1.The Danish Girl

A fictitious love story loosely inspired by the lives of Danish artists Lili Elbe and Gerda Wegener. Lili and Gerda’s marriage and work evolve as they navigate Lili’s ground-breaking journey as a transgender pioneer. Everything about this film ticked all the boxes as it got that emotional impact and this is inspirational, it also about appearances and what you look like and I connect to that message, it will leaves you a lasting impression on you as this is moving and this is real, this is one of those film you will care about with these characters and this is beautiful and relatable.
The only one of these films that I have seen is Supernova (with you) and it was very good.

Omg! I would say “Call Me By Your Name” is definitely my top LGBTQ+ movie. The scenes in the movie are well-presented and very touching to many queers’ experiences.

Call Me By Your Name is a really good film, my favourite bit is when the main lead open up to his father, that bit in the film really touched me
