10.Scooby – Doo (2002 – 2004)

Mystery Inc. (Daphne, Fred, Velma, Shaggy, and Scooby Doo) must investigate a spooky Island. After that in the second film they have to save Coolsville from an attack of their past monsters. Both films are exciting and funny at the same time, the CGI/SFX is truly outstanding and these are eye catching, with these films they have got great characters, these films are certainly watchable.

9.The Journey Collection (2008 – 2012)

After going to the centre of the Earth, seventeen-year-old Sean Anderson goes on a journey to find The Mysterious Island, a legend discovered by Jules Verne. A fun and joyous adventure films which didn’t take themselves too seriously, these are well casted and the story to these films are superb, these are entertaining from start to finish, overall, these films are both consistent.

8.Percy Jackson & The Lightning Thief

A teenager discovers he’s the descendant of a Greek god and sets out on an adventure to settle an ongoing battle between the gods. Gorgeous looking film and with a great cast, it can be funny in places and the visual is outstanding, the villain is certainly memorable and the whole film in general is exciting and entertaining, it might not be groundbreaking but this film is enjoyable and fun.

7.Dora And The Lost City Of Gold

Teenage explorer Dora leads her friends on an adventure to save her parents and solve the mystery behind a lost city of gold. Don’t judge this film whatsoever as this is light-hearted, it also balances the darker elements with the comedy aspect, for me personally it works perfect and the main lead is likeable, if you wanted an easy to watch film this is ideal for you, this is watchable from the start.

6.A Boy Called Christmas

An ordinary young boy called Nikolas sets out on an extraordinary adventure into the snowy north in search of his father who is on a quest to discover the fabled village of the elves, Elfhelm. Eye catching adventure film with an easy-to-follow story, it is one of those film that will draws you in and this is surprisingly good, this also a family viewing type of film, this is a superbly made film.

5.City Of Ember

For generations, the people of the City of Ember have flourished in an amazing world of glittering lights. But Ember’s once powerful generator is failing and the great lamps that illuminate the city are starting to flicker. Fantastic looking film which the two main lead got excellent chemistry together, the story itself is spot on and this is intriguing, this is well casted and it can be rather dark but this is enjoyable, once you watch this film this is memorable from start to finish.

4.Earth To Echo

After receiving a bizarre series of encrypted messages, a group of kids embark on an adventure with an alien who needs their help. Coming of age film which is quietly powerful, the ending is beautiful and it will move you, the kids are likeable in this film and it like a found footage type of film, for me personally it certainly work and it might not draws you in straight away, if you being patience with this film you will be rewarding, it is one of those film that will surprise you.

3.Monster House

Three teenagers, DJ, Chowder and Jenny think that after mean old man Nebbercracker died from a heart attack at his house, they all think it’s over, but they are wrong. Having watched this film I thought wowed as this is surprisingly good, it got a multilayered story that will touch your heart. The characters are great and the animation itself is outstanding, it can be generally funny and this is heartfelt, this is entertaining, enjoyable and it like a thrill ride type of film, this is well made.

2.The Call Of The Wild

As the great Klondike Gold Rush is attracting both ambitious treasure hunters and bold adventurers to the unforgiving territories of Canada’s late 1890s Yukon, Buck, a pampered St. Bernard – Scotch Collie dog, find himself without a master in a frozen new world. It has got stunning scenery and this is a comfort type of film, you will care about with these characters as this film is relatable, it will leave you a lasting impression on you, it is quietly powerful.

1.The Polar Express

On Christmas Eve, a young boy embarks on a magical adventure to the North Pole on the Polar Express, while learning about friendship, bravery, and the spirit of Christmas. Just breathtaking as this feels like an epic style of film, the scenery looks beautiful and it has got an easy-to-follow story, the characters are great and the animation itself is superb, this film is suitable for all ages.
