10.Enchanted

A young maiden in a land called Andalasia, who is prepared to be wed, is sent away to New York City by an evil Queen, where she falls in love with a lawyer. Might not be for everyone but this is eye catching, the casting is perfect as they are superb in their roles. It is one of those film that is suitable for a family viewing, the CGI/SFX look real and realistic, this is a superbly made film.

9.Annie

A foster kid who lives with her mean foster mom sees her life change when business tycoon and New York City mayoral candidate Will Stacks makes a thinly – veiled campaign move and takes her in. Could be rather forced and too sentimental for some people, it deals with the diversity aspect and that is important. It got an all star cast and they all convince in their roles, this is watchable from start to finish, the soundtrack is catchy and tuneful as this is quietly powerful.

8.Dora And The Lost City Of Gold

Teenage explorer Dora leads her friends on an adventure to save her parents and solve the mystery behind a lost city of gold. I personally think this film will divide people as some will like this and some don’t, it like a feel-good adventure film which you needed. Plus it got that balance of the darker elements with the lighter aspect, the main lead is likeable, this is well – made film.

7.IF (2024)

A young girl who goes through a difficult experience begins to see everyone’s imaginary friends who have been left behind as their real – life friends have grown up. Another film which could be too sentimental and rather forced for some people, in some ways this about life, loss and finding yourself and people will connect with that aspect, this is enjoyable and fun, this is a good film.

6.Fast Girls

An athlete, who belongs to a poor neighbourhood, dreams of becoming a world champion. She joins the national track team and overcomes the hostility of her fellow teammates to achieve her goal. Personally, this film might be too predictable but it still an enjoyable film, it is an all – British cast and they are all amazing. It also a feel-good experience as this is joyous and fun, you will rooted for with these characters as you will care about them, in general this is underrated.

5.School Of Rock

After being kicked out of his rock band, Dewey Finn becomes a substitute teacher at an uptight elementary private school, only to try and turn his class into a rock band. Underdog type of film which you rooted for with these characters, it is joyous and fun and it didn’t take itself too seriously. Plus, it never feels forced or too sentimental and that is the key, this is enjoyable.

4.Homeward Bound (1993 – 1996)

Shadow, Sassy, and Chance are back. It’s been three years since their trek through the woods and over the mountains, accidentally the animals get separated and they’re left to fend for themselves on the mean streets of San Francisco. My childhood films as I grow up watching these films, the scenery is outstanding as this is easy to follow. The story is beautiful and this is a family viewing film, it is certainly watchable from start to finish, it is a rather good film.

3.The Polar Express

On Christmas Eve, a young boy embarks on a magical adventure to the North Pole on the Polar Express, while learning about friendship, bravery, and the spirit of Christmas. Gorgeous looking animation film with stunning scenery, the story is beautiful and this is one of the best Christmas films, in general this is inoffensive as it will made you smile, this is a quietly powerful film.

2.Dumplin’

Willowdean (“Dumplin”), the plus – sized teenage daughter of a former beauty queen, signs up for her mom’s Miss Teen Bluebonnet pageant as a protest that escalates when other contestants follow her footsteps, revolutionizing the pageant and their small Texas town. Once you watch this it will leave you a lasting impression on you, with the self-image and the personal journey aspect I personally connect with that, you will care about with these characters, it is beautiful and cute.

1.Ratatouille

A rat named Remy who can cook makes an unusual alliance with a young kitchen worker at a famous Paris restaurant. Normally with Pixar they made consistent films, this one is one of the best ones, the characters are great and this film is relatable. It about chasing your dreams and I personally connect with that aspect, it is funny and heartfelt as this is suitable for all ages.
