10.Step Up (IMDB 6.5/10)

Tyler receives the opportunity of a lifetime after vandalizing a performing arts school, gaining him the chance to earn a scholarship and dance with an up-and-coming dancer, Nora. Might not offer you anything new or fresh. It got that underdog type of vibe and the chemistry between the two lead is spot on, this is watchable from start to finish, overall, this is a well – made film.
9.Candy Cane Lane (IMDB 5.6/10)

A man makes a deal with a mischievous elf who casts a magic spell that brings the 12 days of Christmas to life. Despite the final third feels rather hyperactive. This is surprisingly good and it tries to be something different which I admire, the story is brilliant and it can be funny in places, it might not be for everyone but this is heartfelt, it is easy to watch as this film will surprise you.
8.Storm Boy (IMDB 6.9/10)

Retired businessman Michael Kingley reminiscences his childhood days spent on an isolated coastline and tells his grandchild about the special bond he shared with a rescued pelican. One of those film that doesn’t gel or flow together as much. It doesn’t offer you another new or fresh, despite that this is a beautiful film and it will move you, it got that feels of a feel-good experience which you wanted, despite with these flaws this is certainly memorable.
7.The Idea Of You (IMDB 6.3/10)

Solene, a 40-year-old single mom, begins an unexpected romance with 24-year-old Hayes Campbell, the lead singer of August Moon, the hottest boy band on the planet. To be honest with you this film doesn’t wow me. It the midsection that loses it ways just a little bit, I really like the message of fame and the consequences, the story is perfect and spot on, this is a good film.
6.Dog /2022/ (IMDB 6.5/10)

Two hard – charging former Army Rangers paired against their will, Briggs and a Belgian Malinois named Lulu, race down the Pacific Coast in hopes of making it to a fellow soldier’s funeral on time. Personally, it feels rather forced with the laughs in this film. it is another film which doesn’t gel or flow together as much, but underneath it all there is a war element, it deals with the PTSD aspect and that is refreshing to see that, this isn’t a bad film as this is rather good.
5.Joe Bell (IMDB 6.2/10)

A working – class father embarks on a nationwide walk to combat bullying after his son’s high school bullying, realizing he’s missing out on his son’s life back home. A LGBTQ film with an important topic, Sometimes the flashback is hard to follow and it can get too overcomplicated, this film will draw you in from start to finish, you will always remember this film.
4.Dreambuilders (IMDB 6.0/10)

Minna, a young girl, misuses her newfound ability to create and control other people’s dreams to teach her bothersome stepsister a lesson. With this film it can’t decided which age range which aimed at, that is the only thing as this film in general is eye catching, the idea behind this film is superb and it tries to be something different, if you wanted something different this is ideal.
3.The Marsh King’s Daughter (IMDB 5.9/10)

A woman with a secret past will venture into the wilderness she left behind to confront the most dangerous man she’s ever met: her father. Slow burner type of film as this is totally unpredictable, the acting is amazing and totally believable, I just feel in general the ending is quite weak, if you into slow burner type of film this is ideal for you.
2.Chaos Walking (IMDB 5.7/10)

Viola crash lands on a planet where all the women have been killed and all the men can hear each other’s thoughts. Once there, she meets Todd who protects her from the clutches of an evil mayor. Entertaining and an action-packed film which never loses the story itself, it is thought provoking and it will made you think, for me personally the villain isn’t as memorable and that is the only thing with this film, I reckon with this film it will surprise many people.
1.Garnet’s Gold (IMDB 6.7/10)

Follow one extraordinary man’s quixotic and recklessly brave adventure in search of hidden treasure, in a belated rite of passage to rediscover the meaning of his life. Everything about this documentary ticked all the boxes, it got stunning scenery, calming type of vibe and it is powerful. It could have been a five stars documentary but it has got a weak ending, once you watched this you will always remember this, this will touch people heart and it will move you.
I like the sound of Garnet’s Gold. I’ll watch out for that one.
