Bruce Nolan doesn’t think the world is treating him fairly. He is a new reporter who keeps getting the worst stories he could get, and life just doesn’t seem to go right for him. The one person he blames the most is God. Firstly, I know Steve Carell play a small role, he plays a rival news reporter and he certainly fit that part. All the casting is spot on and they all convince in their roles, this is certainly watchable from start to finish, the idea behind this film is superb.

4.IF (2024)

A young girl who goes though a difficult experience begins to see everyone’s imaginary friends who have been left behind as their real – life friends have grown up. One of those film that will divide people. Steve Carell plays the vocal of Blue a friendly looking monster, it has got an all-star cast and they all convince in their roles. It also about life from a kid perspective and that is refreshing, it has got a clever twist toward the end, this will move you as well.

3.Over The Hedge

A raccoon comes to live in a little forest on the boundary of a town. It decides to stay as close to the town as possible in order to take advantage of the free food available in the town. Personally, this animation film never feels too hyperactive. That is the key and Steve Carell vocal Hammy a squirrel, it might not be for everyone but this is inoffensive cute film, the characters are great and brims with comic one liners, this is suitable for all ages.

2.Hope Springs (2012)

After thirty years of marriage, a middle – aged couple attends an intense, week – long counselling session to work on their relationship. It could have been a five-star film but I feel it doesn’t gel or flow together as much, Steve Carell plays a therapist in this film. this is silently powerful and it will surprise you, it is heartfelt and heartwarming, this is a well – made film.

1.Despicable Me (2010 – 2013)

While Gru, the ex – supervillain is adjusting to family life and an attempted honest living in the jam business, a secret Artic laboratory is stolen. Mighty well just finish the Despicable Me films. The first two film are classic and generally funny, these are heartwarming and joyous plus heartfelt, the characters are great and the vocals is superb, these are family viewing.
