5.Starfish

“Starfish” tells the story of a couple whose love is tested to its limit after their perfect life falls apart in a single moment. All British film with a reasonable story. it is well casted but unfortunately it feels too sentimental and rather forced, it also hard to care about with these characters, it can feel like this made for television type of film. Within all these flaws it could have been something special, it is such a shame as it doesn’t quite deliver.

4.Attack The Block

 Attack The Block follows an unlucky young woman and a gang of tough inner-city kids in South London defend their block from an alien invasion. Being another all-British film as it is well casted. I just feel in general with the balance of this film, it struggles with the darker element with the comedy aspect, it didn’t quite work and the laughs seems forced. It didn’t gel or flow together as much, despite that the idea behind this film is brilliant.

3.The Limehouse Golem

Victorian London is terrorized by an unknown serial killer who leaves cryptic messages with the victim’s blood. When the killings increase, Scotland Yard assigns the case to a famous inspector. The look of this film is fantastic. The story itself is brilliant but unfortunately the film itself isn’t as memorable, it lacks the psychological element, it didn’t gel or flow together as much. Overall, this film is a major letdown with these flaws, it has got potential but it didn’t work.

2.Moon (2009)

Astronaut Sam, the sole employee working at a lunar station with his computer, GERTY, is nearing the end of his three-year work contract. Just before he returns home, he meets with a fatal accident. With stunning special effects that made this film eye catching. I also like the story to this film as that aspect is good, the negatives are; this can be hard to follow with too many ideas due to being too overcomplicated, if this film is simple it would have been good.

1.Dog Man

Dog Man, half dog and half man, he is sworn to protect and serve as he doggedly pursues the feline supervillain Petey the Cat. Firstly, I like DreamWorks Animation film as they do superb films. I admire this film that try to be something different, the film itself seems rushed and it is too hyperactive, this isn’t laugh out loud funny and it never calm down, this film doesn’t work.
