5.The Only Living Boy In New York

Thomas Webb, who is still trying to figure what to do professionally, finds his life turned upside down when he discovers his father is having an affair. The idea and the story behind this film is spot on. I also like the friendship aspect with Callum Turner and Jeff Bridges, those are the positive; unfortunately it lacks that emotional aspect, this doesn’t feel relatable and it doesn’t gel or flow together as much, I don’t want to be too harsh on this film as it got some potential. For me personally this film didn’t deliver and that is a real shame.
4.Snow White

A princess joins forces with seven dwarfs and a group of rebels to liberate her kingdom from her cruel stepmother the Evil Queen. Eye catching film with stunning scenery. The CGI/SFX is truly outstanding, the ending is superb as this film is a clever spin on the original one. For me personally the villain isn’t as memorable. With the musicals elements some of the songs doesn’t quite work, it might not be perfect but it still watchable, this is suitable for all ages.
3. 500 Days Of Summer

Tom Revisits the approximate one year he shared with Summer, the girl he thought he could spend the rest of his life with. She, on the other hand, does not believe in relationships or boyfriends. Cute and heartwarming film that will surprise you. The two main leads have got great chemistry together, it more heartfelt than being too forced or too sentimental, the only thing with this film is the midsection falters just a little bit, despite that this is surprisingly good.
2.The Amazing Spider – Man (2012 – 2014)

Two years after his battle with mega – criminal Lizard in The Amazing Spider – Man (2012), it is up to Spider – Man to save the city he swore to protect as well as his loved one. Both films are consistent and exciting. It feels epic and a thrill ride type of film, it also didn’t take itself too seriously, the villains are memorable and the casting is perfect. These might be action packed but it never loses the story itself, overall, these films are entertaining plus the CGI/SFX are superb.
1.Gifted (2017)

Frank, a single man raising his child prodigy niece Mary, is drawn into a custody battle with his mother. Real, honest and relatable film that will touch people heart. You will care about with these characters, the story is beautiful as it got that emotional aspect, it hasn’t got a typical Hollywood ending and that is refreshing, it will leave you a lasting impression on you.
I have not seen any of his films so I can’t comment.
