  1. I don’t enjoy watching horror films so much these days, but I do agree with you about IT and Marrowbone.

Here’s some that I enjoyed in the past:

    1. The Exorcist (1973) – When a mysterious entity possesses a young girl, her mother seeks the help of two Catholic priests to save her life.

    2. Suspira (2018) – I’m surprised that you didn’t include this one.

    3. Se7en (1995) – Two detectives, a rookie and a veteran, hunt a serial killer who uses the seven deadly sins as his motives.

    4. The Fly (1986) – A botched experiment transmutes a man into a monstrous insect.

    5. The Omen (1976) – Mysterious deaths surround an American ambassador. Could the child that he is raising actually be the Antichrist? The Devil’s own son?

    6. The Devil Rides Out (1968) – Devil worshipers plan to convert two new victims.

    7. Witchfinder General (1968) – During the English Civil War, a young Roundhead seeks vengeance against a vicious witch-hunter and his henchman, who have terrorized the soldier’s fiancée and wrongfully executed her uncle. Genuinely the most horrific film I ever saw.
