Firstly I know Ewan McGregor play a smaller role in this film. he plays Alex Rider’s uncle; the casting is spot on and totally believable, it has got amazing set pieces as this is entertaining, the key thing with this film it didn’t take itself too seriously, this will divide people but this is superb.

4.Guillermo Del Toro’s Pinocchio

A father’s wish magically brings a wooden boy to life in Italy, giving him a chance to care for the child. Ewan McGregor lend his vocal as the Cricket who narrator this animation film. it is quietly powerful and it will move you, despite the midsection falters it still draw you in from start to finish, it is certainly memorable as this is eye catching, overall this is pretty impressive.

3.Beauty And The Beast

A village girl embarks on a journey to save her father from a creature that has locked him in his dungeon. Eventually, she learns that the creature is a prince who has been cursed. All of the characters are certainly memorable. Ewan McGregor plays a supporting role as Lumiere which is a candelabra, the CGI/SFX is truly outstanding and the musicals set pieces is superb, the story is beautiful as it deals with appearances, it feels totally epic as this is watchable.

2.Robots

In a robot world, a young idealistic inventor travels to the big city to join his inspiration’s company, only to find himself opposing its sinister new management. Heartwarming film which Ewan McGregor lend his vocal as the main character Rodney. The idea behind this film is brilliant as this is easy to watch, this is suitable for all ages and a family viewing, it is joyous and uplifting at the same time, if you wanted a simple animation film this is ideal for you.

1.The Impossible

The story of a tourist family in Thailand caught in the destruction and chaotic aftermath of the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami. Could be hard to watch for some people as this is a hard-hitting film. Ewan McGregor plays the dad in this film, this is about determination and never giving up which I personally connect with, it has got stunning scenery and you will care about with these characters, It is quietly powerful and it will move you; it will leave you a lasting impression on you.
