5.Last Breath (2025)

A true story that follows seasoned deep – sea divers as they battle the raging elements to rescue their crew mate trapped hundreds of feet below the ocean’s surface. Might not offer you anything new or fresh. It still draws you in from start to finish, it is well casted and they all convince in their roles, overall this film is certainly well – made, this is still pretty good film.

4.The Tunnel (2019)

A tragic accident jeopardises the lives of several people stuck in Norwegian tunnel. Due to a deadly blizzard raging at the time, the trapped people must find a way to survive on their own. Despite it doesn’t quite gel together as much. this is still worth watching due to the character development, the story and the idea behind this film is superb, it doesn’t feel rushed with this film and that is the key, once you watched this film you will remember it.

3.The Finest Hours (2016)

The Coast Guard makes a daring rescue attempt off the coast of Cape Cod after a pair of oil tankers are destroyed during a blizzard in 1952. Another film which doesn’t quite gel or flow together as much. It is action packed but it never loses the story itself, the scenery looks outstanding as this is eye catching, it has got an all – star cast, it silently watchable.

2.The 33

Based on the real – life event, when a gold and copper mine collapses, it traps 33 miners underground for 69 days. Unfortunately the midsection falters just a little bit. If you get past that this is still pretty good film, it got a multilayered story as this is character driven, the ending will move you as this is silently powerful, this film will surprised many people.

1.Daylight

When an explosion collapses both exits of a Hudson River tunnel, ex – Emergency Medical Services Chief Kit Latura tries to guide trapped survivors to safety. Personally I don’t get the hate for this film. it is well casted and they all convince in their roles, there are some characters development and that is the key, this is action packed but it never loses the story itself, overall this is entertaining as this is an exciting film.
