5.Churchill (2017)
During WWII, British Prime Minister Winston Churchill struggles with his decisions. As he second – guesses his decision on Operation Overlord, his wife, Clementine, inspires him to forge ahead. The opening sequences are truly memorable. It is silently powerful and it will move you, the chemistry between the two main stars is superb, once you watch this you will always remember this, the story is beautiful as this film will certainly draw you in.
4.The Water Diviner
An Australian man travels to Turkey after the Battle of Gallipoli to try to locate his three missing sons. One of those film that will surprised many people. The acting is believable and totally convincing, this is another film that will move you and it will draw you in, the story is fantastic as this is eye catching, overall this film has got stunning scenery and it is well – made.
3.Goodbye Christopher Robin
The relationship between writer AA Milne and his son, Christopher Robin, and how this became the inspiration for Winnie the Pooh. Part of this film is about fame and the consequences. It also a fascination study of AA Milne, the flashback elements never get too overcomplicated and that is the key, it will capture people heart and it will leave you a lasting impression on you, it is a sad film but it tries to be heartwarming at the same time.
2.Balloon (2018)
Two families attempt to flee the German Democratic Republic in a homemade hot air balloon. However, after they fail, they struggle to make a second escape plan. Unpredictable film with twist after twist. It is a slow burner type of film; if you are being patience you will be rewarded with this film, the acting is amazing as they all convince in their roles, also the ending is superb; the film itself got that psychological aspect which you needed, this is good.
1.Zoo (2017)
Young Tom Hall and his misfit friends fight to save “Buster” the baby elephant during the German air raid bombings of Belfast, Northern Ireland in 1941. It never gets too sentimental as this doesn’t feel forced. The casting is perfect as they all convince in their roles, it has got some nice moment in this film, this is a beautiful film and it will capture people heart; this is an historical film but this is suitable for a family viewing, it will surprised many people.
