The premise of Dark Water is about a defence attorney who helped an old friend of his grandma to bring down a environment lawsuit against a chemical company that exposes a lengthy history of pollution in a small town in America.
I think personally it’s a well-made film with great acting especially Mark Ruffalo and Anne Hathaway and they should be up for an Oscar. In a taut, suspense and unpredictable film that you never forget. The reason why I loved it, it based on a true story that I didn’t know it existed. When Mark Ruffalo character drive a car in a small population town in America, there are some kids on their bikes who talking and then they just turned around and you see their rotten teeth with the consequences due to the pollution. That scene is shocking and memorable for me and keep you hook from start to finished with a satisfying ending.
