Film Review: Just Mercy

Just Mercy is about a civil right attorney Bryan Stevenson who defended a death row prisoner who is wrongly accused of murder a young girl. It also based on a true story about the real Bryan Stevenson.

This is a sensitively and a controversies topic about racial injustice which I found compelling with a great story. The acting is top notch and extremely powerful with a memorable scene with involved Bryan Stevenson have to strip of his clothes in a jail to prove the offices he hasn’t got anything to hide but the only thing is the officers are white, that bit is generally powerful and I always remember that scene because of the injustice of black people. Don’t get me know wrong Michael B Jordan is good but, in the film, you don’t really get his backstory while he is young or why he is becoming a lawyer, despite that it is extremely powerful film.
