Some people say this film is too predictable and not much to it and it is really sad, that is totally wrong as it got two Hollywood heavyweights in Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman and they are endearing and spot on in there comic timing. The story is top notch and people certainly can connect with this film and it is an uplifting film with generally funny moment in this film.

9.Everybody’s Fine

A widower who realized his only connection to his family was though his wife sets off on an impromptu road trip to reunite with each of his grown children. This is a film that people can relate to and with spot on casting it certainly bring you a poignancy tale of sheer beauty, the cinematography is gorgeous and it take you on a journey in this life affirmation in a film.

8.A Christmas Carol (2009)

An animated retelling of Charles Dickens’ classic novel about a Victorian – era miser taken on a journey of self – redemption, courtesy of several mysterious Christmas apparitions. Bright, breezy and colourful tale that is certainly very Christmassy and everyone know the story of this film, the voice casting is excellent and the look of it, is certainly magnificent.

7.The Secret Of Marrowbone

In 1960s rural America a young man and his three younger siblings, who have kept a secret the death of their beloved mother in order to remain together, are plagued by a sinister presence in the sprawling manor in which they live. This is a creepy old fashion ghost story that is so watchable in this well-made tale, the acting is superb and so convincing and especially from George Mackay. It is one of those slow burners type of film that is has an edge of psychological aspect to this film with a brilliant ending to this film.

 6.A Monster Calls

A boy seeks the help of a tree monster to cope with his single mother’s terminal illness, he can’t overcome with the news about his mum and he deal with it, in this own way. Yes this might be too predictable and it will be a tearjerker for so many people, it about grief and how people grieve in their own way, everyone been there and in the same position and everyone should watch this. The casting is absolutely amazing in this thought-provoking film.

5.Kubo And The Two Strings

A magical boy named Kubo must locate a magical suit of armour worn by his late father in order to defeat a vengeful spirit from the past. A magical experience for the whole family in this jaw dropping, beautiful, soulful and a sincere tale of loneliness that you actually care about with these characters, The scenery is gorgeous to look at and the storytelling is magnificent in this funny and charming film.

4.The Impossible

The story of a tourist family in Thailand caught in the destruction and chaotic aftermath of the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami. Once you actually watched this film it will wowed you as it is generally powerful and poignancy and the message of the film is never given up hope and keep searching for your family and be determined, the people in this film is absolutely amazing and likeable and make this a believable film.

In 2001, Afghanistan is under the control of the Taliban. When her father is captured, a determined young girl disguises herself as a boy in order to provide for her family. This is definitely a sleeper hit of a film that take you on a journey and you would actually feel for her and her family and her situation, the animation is certainly out of this world and you actually care about with the main lead and they are likeable in a film that is well intentioned with a brilliant story.
