10.Home Alone (1990 – 1992)
Once again, it is Christmas time, and the McCallister family is planning another vacation, only this time they are bound to go to Miami, Florida. Unfortunately, Kevin separates from the rest of his family and goes to New York City. A likeable lead and the two main villain in Daniel Stern and Joe Pesci are absolutely hilarious and with great chemistry, it is generally funny with nonstop prank and their reaction is priceless, John Heard and Catherine O’Hara is pitch perfect as the parents in this appealing film.
A family of undercover superheroes, while trying to live the quiet suburban life, are forced into action to save the world. Definitely a feel-good type of film which is really cute and it certainly much better than some other superheroes films, the vocal talent is excellent that brim with comic one liner and it is really funny as well. It is action packed with great visual and with an easy-to-follow story that is suitable for all ages.
8.A Quiet Place
In a post – apocalyptic world, a family is forced to live in silence while hiding from monsters with ultra – sensitive hearing. It is one of those film that will gripped you from start to finish and the first hour is building up the tension with ease and it is unpredictable, the casting is perfect and with nerve shredding tension and the pacing is superb, it is effective with a gem of a film that is so different but it is watchable.
Young, orphaned siblings, Judy and Peter Shepard stumbles on a board name and they play it, but the board game come alive and mayhem ensure. Majestic fantasy film with galore of CGI/SFX plus Robin Williams is perfect in his role with comic timing, the set up to this film is inch perfect in a thoroughly entertaining film.
6.Zathura: A Space Adventure
Two young brothers and their sister are drawn into an intergalactic adventure when their house is hurled through the depths of space by the magical board game they are playing. Entertaining, exciting with a thrill ride type of film and it is so watchable with a fantastic cast that they are really good. It might be suitable for the younger generation but if you like those type of film you will love it, you can’t fault the ambitious and it is well meaning and well-intentioned film.
Simon Spier keeps a huge secret from his family, his friends and all of his classmates: he’s gay. When that secret is threatened, Simon must face everyone and come to terms with his identity. Superbly made coming of age type of film that is so tender and generally really moving, it is well casted and Josh Duhamel and Jennifer Garner is astonishing and really good as the parents role, This is an important film for everyone in this likeable and sincere film.
A widower who realized his only connection to his family was through his wife sets off on an impromptu road trip to reunite with each of his grown children. One of those film that is so relatable and life affirming in this film that everyone been there done that as you been there, it is sincere and the casting is superb in a film that everyone can connect to with stunning cinematography in a beautiful story.
3.We Bought A Zoo
Set in southern California, a father moves his young family to the countryside to renovate and re – open a struggling zoo. Well casted with excellent result in this feel-good type of film and this is certainly well made with a film that will touch people heart, it based on a true story which I didn’t know about and that what made this film really good and it is definitely underrated with a gem of a film.
The story of a tourist family in Thailand caught in the destruction and chaotic aftermath of the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami. Uplifting, moving, sincere and life affirming experience in this awe-inspiring film that is so relatable to people, it might be too harrowing for some people but if you get past them it make it compelling viewing with generally tense scenes, it is watchable and with the acting that that made this believable in a thought-provoking film.
After young Riley is uprooted from her Midwest life and moved to San Francisco, her emotions Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness – conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house, and school. The reason why I picked this as my number one it is suitable for all ages and I love the concept of this film as it new and fresh and everyone can relate to this film, I can connect to this film as it basically about growing up and hold special memories, in this good-looking film.
