10.A Quiet Place

Two parents do what it takes to keep their children safe in a world full of creatures hunting every sound they can hear. Not a sound can be heard from the family hiding in silence. The first hour is generally creepy, atmosphere and totally unpredictable in this slow burn psychological horror film, it is certainly tense but it also very watchable in an intelligent and smart film that is so gripping from start to finish. It also drawn you in as a father who wanted to protect his families in this cult classic of a film.
9.Hook

When Captain James Hook kidnaps his children, an adult Peter Pan must return to Neverland and reclaim his youthful spirit in order to challenge his old enemy. A majestic and glamorous looking film that is so enchanted, Dustin Hoffman is perfectly sinister and menacing in his role. Everyone wanted their dad to be a hero in this sumptuous entertaining film that is super fun.
8.The Pursuit Of Happyness

A struggling salesman takes custody of his son as he’s poised to begin a life – changing professional career. It is one of those film that will touched people and it is so poignancy and moving at the same time, Will Smith normally do comedy and action type of film and he is so magnificent especially Jaden Smith which he is superb as well. your dad will always risked practically everything just to made you smile, the acting in general is outstanding by the supporting cast, this film is so uplifting and life affirming.
7.We Bought A Zoo

Set in Southern California, a father moves his young family to the countryside to renovate and re – open a struggling zoo. Compassionate, uplifting, moving film that all the family will enjoy this one, I’m not normally a massive Matt Damon fan but this film has change my mind about him. A father wanted to do the best for his family and this film ring true as it based on a true story, that is the key to this film success.
6.Goodbye Christopher Robin

The relationship between writer AA Milne and his son, Christopher Robin, and how his became the inspiration for Winnie the Pooh. Personally I actually connect with this film as it basically about the fame and the consequences, that you doesn’t needed fame of getting to your head and it about yourself as an individual. Your dad will always know and they won’t put you in an awkward position and do things the right way, this film is so sincere and totally unique.
5.Everybody’s Fine

A widower who realized his only connection to his family was through his wife set off on an impromptu road trip to reunite with each of his grown children. Magnificent Indie film that no one even hear off and it is one of those film that ring true to so many people, this film is general uplifting and the acting is superb especially Robert DeNiro. You actually rooted for the main lead and if you being a single dad with your families who you don’t see that much and they live far, you will connect to this film.
4.The Impossible

The story of a tourist family in Thailand caught in the destruction and chaotic aftermath of the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami. One of my personal favourite film as this film will leave you a lasting impression on you, it also pay respect to the survivor as this film is based on a true story and it is so sincere and the pacing is just right. Being a new dad what would do if you got stuck with an unbelievable tragedy on holiday with your other half and your kids being somewhere far, you wouldn’t giving up and keep searching and never giving up hope and be determined, in a fantastic and a moving film that will capture your heart.
3.Kung Fu Panda 3

When Po’s long – lost panda father suddenly reappears, the reunited duo travels to a secret panda paradise to meet scores of hilarious new panda characters. Definitely suitable for a family viewing and all ages will like this film, the voice cast is excellent and with comic timing and it is attractive to look at. The story is easy to follow and I loving the father and the son relationship that work really well, that is the key to this film as it is heartfelt, funny and it just a really nice film and some life lesson
2.Love, Simon

Simon Spier keeps a huge secret from his family, his friends and all of his classmates: he’s gay. When that secret is threatened, Simon must face everyone and come to terms with his identity. Really important film and in my eyes everyone should see this film hands down, Nick Robinson, Josh Duhamel and Jennifer Garner they are exceptional. The supporting cast are amazing and as a father they would accept their son and their identity, in an underrated film that is so good.
1.Finding Nemo

After his son is captured in the Great Barrier Reef and taken to Sydney, a timid clownfish sets out on a journey to bring him home. The reason why I picked this film as my number one it’s PIXAR as they are normally consistent and this is a classic film, the vocal talent is brilliant in this gorgeous looking film that the story is so simple. It also suitable for all ages and the father son element work really well, in a cult classic of a film.
