10.Legend Of The Guardians: The Owls Of Ga’Hoole
When a young owl is abducted by an evil owl army, he must escape with new – found friends and seek the legendary Guardians to stop the menace. In a good-looking film that actually struggle with the darker and the lighter element that wouldn’t capture the right audience, but it is not suitable for the younger generation of children. It is one of those film that take itself too seriously and it is so bleak and you can’t really connect to these characters.
9.Jack And The Cuckoo – Clock Heart
A 19th – century drama about a man whose heart was replaced with a clock when he was born, the situation dictates that he should avoid feeling strong emotions. A good old-fashioned story that has got potential but it ended up of being too weird and the ending is rubbish, the vocal talent is not amazing and it not funny enough despite it has got potential.
8.The House Of Magic
Thunder, an abandoned young cat seeking shelter from a storm, stumbles into the strangest home imaginable, owned by an old magician and inhabited by a dazzling array of automatons and gizmos. Everything is completely wrong as it feel rushed from the start and it can be too madcap, it is such a shame as this could be really good but it isn’t whatsoever.
7.The Boss Baby
A suit – wearing, briefcase – carrying baby pairs up with his 7 years old brother to stop the dastardly plot of the CEO of Puppy Co. Right idea and with an interesting concept that never really work, personally I can’t get into this film as it not endearing or laugh out loud moment as it got a story that is more suitable to kids, than adult in a disappointing film that just struggle to get the right audience.
Scooby and the gang face their most challenging mystery ever: a plot to unleash the ghost dog Cerberus upon the world. As they race to stop this dogpocalypse, the gang discovers that Scooby has an epic destiny greater than anyone imagined. Definitely an unnecessary reboot as I totally love the live action film of Scooby – Doo, with this latest effect with too many characters and it is unfunny with a plot that is so stupid and lame, in a surprisingly lame film.
5.A Whisker Away
Miyo Sasaki is in love with her classmate Kento Hinode and tries repeatedly to get Kento’s attention by transforming into a cat, but at some point, the boundary between herself and the cat becomes ambiguous. Studio Ghibli can be up and down and often a brilliant one might come around. This one is definitely the weakest as it becoming too weird and surreal and it not really suitable for a family viewing, a good story that becomes too weird and that is a real shame.
4.The Secret Life Of Pets (2016 – 2019)
Continuing the story of Max and his pet friends, following their secret lives after their owners leave them for work or school each day. Normally I’m a massive animals lover so I thought this would be amazing, but this one is too safe and slightly forced like with the humour and it not that funny, the vocal talent is okay but they haven’t got any comic timing or chemistry together.
3.Shaun The Sheep Movie
When Shaun decides to take the day off and have some fun, he gets a little more action than he bargained for. With Aardman films they normally really sweet and made you smile and pure escapism, it is one of them film that is so frustrating as it is mainly aimed at youngster than adult and this one is too everywhere and it is cringy worthy. It is totally unfunny and it is far too safe and unoriginal and it just a major disappointed.
2.Cars (2006 – 2017)
A hot – shot race – car named Lightning McQueen get waylaid in Radiator Springs. He also going on tours around the world, where he finds the true meaning of friendship and family. With PIXAR films they are very consistent and entertaining to watch and often move you, whereas with this one this isn’t memorable enough and it hard to connect with these characters, with all these three films they are not watchable or entertaining you at all.
Minions Stuart, Kevin, and Bob are recruited by Scarlett Overkill, a supervillain who, alongside her inventor husband Herb, hatches a plot to take over the world. Too be honest with you I thought this would be amazing as I totally love Despicable Me, but it ended up with a thinly plotted story that doesn’t excites you and it stay too safe and it is totally unfunny. It also feel rushed and you just wait and wait till something happen, it is such a shame that this film is a failure and really disappointing as this got potential but it didn’t succeed whatsoever.
