10.Jurassic Park (1993 – 1997)

Four years after the failure of Jurassic Park on Isla Nublar, John Hammond reveals to Ian Malcolm that there was another island (“Site B”) on which dinosaurs were bred before being transported to Isla Nublar. Both films is superbly made with astonishing CGI/SFX and that made this entertaining from start to finish, it is very exciting with an all – stars casting and this is enjoyable.

9.Jaws

When a killer shark unleashes chaos on a bench community, it’s up to a local sheriff, a marine biologist, and an old seafarer to hunt the beast down. An old school horror film which is just perfect and the pacing is excellent, it is one of those film that is so memorable and this is the sort of horror film that just take its time but it work really well.

8.Indiana Jones And The Temple Of Doom

In 1935, Indiana Jones arrives in India, still part of the British Empire, and is asked to find a mystical stone. He then stumbles upon a secret cult committing enslavement and human sacrifices in the catacombs of an ancient palace. Definitely the best Indiana Jones film as this one is truly epic and generally exciting, the set pieces is amazing in this watchable film.

7.Hook

When Captain James Hook kidnaps his children, an adult Peter Pan must return to Neverland and reclaim his youthful spirit in order to challenge his old enemy. Childlike film which might be slightly darker for the younger generations, the storytelling is simple and Dustin Hoffman is brilliant as the sinister Hook, overall this film is thoroughly enjoyable and with a good cast.

6.The Post

A cover – up spanning for U.S. Presidents pushes the country’s first female newspaper publisher and her editor to join an unprecedented battle between press and government. Fascinating true story which is well – made and it also engrossing from the first frame, overall the acting is really good that captivating this film. The reason why I like this film I didn’t know it based on a true story at first, but now I actually appreciated it and it is a gem of a film.

5.The Terminal

An Eastern European tourist unexpectedly finds himself stranded in JFK airport, and must take up temporary residence there. Generally funny but a feel-good type of film and also the villain is absolutely hilarious, Stanley Tucci and Tom Hanks are superb and the supporting cast is really good and overall this is surprisingly good, it might not be the best film but I can guaranteed you, you will enjoy this film and it is just a really nice film.

4.Minority Report

In a future where a special police unit is able to arrest murders before they commit their crimes, an officer from that unit is himself accused of a future murder. Exciting with a thrill ride type of film that is mind-blowing, it has got amazing set pieces and one of the best Tom Cruise film and this will made you think, it is totally unpredictable and it will thrill you.

3.War Horse

Young Albert enlists to serve in World War I after his beloved horse is sold to the cavalry. Albert’s hopeful journey takes him out of England and to the front lines as the war rages on. Honest, raw, and sincere film that will touch people heart, the acting and the horse itself is truly remarkable in this truly epic film that got the wowed factor.

2.Bridge Of Spies

During the Cold War, an American lawyer is recruited to defend an arrested Soviet spy in court, and then help the CIA facilitate an exchange of the spy for the Soviet captured American U2 spy plane pilot, Francis Gary Powers. Moving, sincere and thought-provoking film that is so engrossing, it is watchable and very fascinating film that will made you think and overall this film will leaves you a lasting impression on you.

1.The Adventures Of Tintin: The Secret Of The Unicorn

Intrepid reporter Tintin and Captain Haddock set off on a treasure hunt for a sunken ship commanded by Haddock’s ancestor. My number one Steven Spielberg film as this is absolutely amazing, it has got a bit of everything like action, funny, heartfelt with a really good story and it is suitable for all ages and family viewing type of film, the vocal talent is outstanding with comic one liner and overall it is entertaining with a really good film.

  1. I always say that you can’t go wrong with Spielberg Mark. My personal favourites of him as Director and missing from your list are:
    Duel – the first Spielberg film I saw
    E.T. – a classic
    The Colour Purple – a stroke of genius to cast Whoopi Goldberg
    Schindler’s List – harrowing but a masterpiece
    A.I. Artificial Intelligence – the new Pinocchio story
    Lincoln – a great combination with Daniel Day-Lewis
