10.Big
After wishing to be made big, a teenage boy wakes the next morning to find himself mysteriously in the body of an adult. At first I didn’t really love this film but now once I looking back and thinking about it, it is actually really good and well – made as well and plus it is well intentioned with a likeable lead.
9.Love Actually
Follows the lives of eight very different couples in dealing with their love lives in various loosely interrelated tales all set during a frantic month before Christmas in London, England. With this being a Romantic film this could be a hit and miss for some people, it has got an all – star cast and it is cheesy but it is a really nice film and overall it is funny with a feel-good type of vibe.
8.Chef
A head chef quits his restaurant job and buys a food truck in an effort to reclaim his creative promise, while piecing back together his estranged family. Definitely a really cute film that is so heart – warming, it might sweary for some people but this film will automatically made you smile from start to finish in this superb film.
7.Love, Simon
Simon Spier keeps a huge secret from his family, his friends and all of his classmate: he’s gay. When that secret is threatened, Simon must face everyone and come to terms with his identity. Love, Simon is one of those film that is real and relatable and you actually care about with these characters, the acting is amazing and this is a gem of a film which is so underrated.
6.The Hundred – Foot Journey
The Kadam family leaves India for France where they open a restaurant directly across the road from Madame Mallory’s Michelin – starred eatery. Stunning scenery and with good looking food that looked absolutely delicious in this light – hearted film, it has got a good cast in this likeable film and overall it is beautifully made with a really good story.
5.We Bought A Zoo
Set in Southern California, a father moves his young family to the countryside to renovate and re – open a struggling zoo. It is one of those film that I didn’t know it based on a true story and this film will drawn you in from the first frame, it is endearing and life affirming and this is simply beautiful. It also sincere and sometime heart-breaking but once this film finish it will leave you lasting impression on you.
4.Zootropolis
In a city of anthropomorphic animals, a rookie bunny cop and a cynical con artist fox must work together to uncover a conspiracy. Colourful, heartfelt, and really funny film that is so captivating and it is really clever as well, the vocal talent is superb and with full of eccentric characters that is likeable, it is uplifting with a brilliant story and this film is so watchable.
3.Sunshine On Leith
Two Scottish soldiers return from a tour of duty into their hometown of Leith (Edinburgh, Scotland). We witness the trials and tribulations as we follow the love lives of both soldiers. Joyous and heart – warming with catchy tunes, it is relatable and you actually care about with these characters, it is an all-British film that will capture people heart.
2.Paddington (2014 – 2017)
Paddington, having settled with the Brown family in Windsor Gardens, has become popular in his community, offering people emotional support in various ways. Funny, heartfelt, endearing film that every time once you watch this film it made you feel good inside of you. The villains is totally memorable in this light entertainment film.
1.Ratatouille
A rat named Remy who can cook makes an unusual alliance with a young kitchen worker at a famous restaurant. My number one film in this category is definitely Ratatouille as this is suitable for all ages and a family viewing type of film, with PIXAR they are always consistent and this is one of the best one. It has got a brilliant story and it will captivating audience.
