10.Yogi Bear

A documentary filmmaker travels to Jellystone Park to shoot a project and soon crosses paths with Yogi Bear, his sidekick Boo – Boo and Ranger Smith. I know what people thinking why this awful looking film in this category, it is well intentioned with an all-star vocal talent with the likes of Dan Aykroyd and Justin Timberlake as their chemistry is perfect, it also a well – made film that is completely heartfelt to anyone who really into live action film.

9.The Goonies

A group of young misfits called The Goonies discover an ancient map and set out on an adventure to find a legendary pirate’s long – lost treasure. Exciting and rip – roaring adventure type of film that will capture your youth and your childhood, it is watchable from start to finish and it is general exhilarating by this majestic film that will capture people heart.

8.School Of Rock

After being kicked out of his rock band, Dewey Finn becomes a substitute teacher at an uptight elementary private school, only to try and turn his class into a rock band. Definitely an underdog type of film which work really well, it also a feel-good experience and it will made you smile ear to ear in this joyous and uplifting film.

7.Homeward Bound (1993 – 1996)

Shadow, Sassy, and Chance are back! It’s been three years since their trek through the woods and over mountains. Now the family lives in San Francisco and they’re taking a vacation in Canada. Gorgeous – looking scenery alongside with cute looking animals, the story of this is beautifully done and it might be rather dated but it still a touching film.

6.Earth To Echo

After receiving a bizarre series of encrypted messages, a group of kids embark on an adventure with an alien who needs their help. Honest, raw, real and a coming-of-age film which will captivating many people, it is engrossing and it will automatically drawn you in from the first frame. It is one of those underrated film that is so good and a gem of a film which is superbly made.

5.Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory

A poor but hopeful boy seeks one of the five coveted golden tickets that will send him on a tour of Willy Wonka’s mysterious chocolate factory. An old-fashioned film which is so colorful and bright in this toe tapping film, my personally favorite is Pure Imaginational as it will moved you and it is one of those film you can revisit anytime, Gene Wilder is perfect as Willy Wonka as he captures the film spirit of flamboyance and it just a really nice film.

4.Hugo

In 1931 Paris, an orphan living in the walls of a train station gets wrapped up in a mystery involving his late father and an automaton. Being an all star cast with a mixture of an old-fashioned mystery film and that does work really well, it also engrossing and automatically drawn you in straight away in this picturesque and a sincere film.

3.Ferdinand

After Ferdinand, a bull with a big heart, is mistaken for a dangerous beast, he is captured and torn from his home. Determined to return to his family, he rallies a misfit team on the ultimate adventure. Cute and life affirming animation film that you would connect to, the moral for this film is to be different and be the odd one out. I’m sure everyone can connect to that message and it also funny and the vocal talent is superb with comic one liner.

2.Paddington (2014 – 2017)

Paddington, having settled with the Brown family in Windsor Gardens, has become popular in his community, offering people emotional support in various ways. Joyous and entertaining film which is suitable for a family viewing, it is charming, funny, and emotional film that will ticked all the boxes for a perfect night in, this is watchable and general heartfelt in this superb film.

1.Toy Story (1995 – 2019)

Toy Story is about the secret life of toys when people are not around and go on numerous adventures and meet new people along their ways. My number one for this category is the Toy Story films as all of them are consistently really good, the vocal talent is literally out of this world in this marvelous film which is suitable for all ages.

  1. I’m not the biggest fan of the Christmas holidays but if you’re going to watch one film it has to be It’s a Wonderful Life.
