10.The Addams Family

Con artists plan to fleece an eccentric family using an accomplice who claims to be their long-lost uncle. It is one of those film that is quirky and different which I really admire and it is well – casted, it is generally funny and the story itself is really good and overall this is amusing and a watchable film.

9.Edward Scissorhands

An artificial man, who was incompletely constructed and has scissors for hands, leads a solitary life. Then one day, a suburban lady meets him and introduces him to her world. A dreamlike film with an anti – bullying message which work really well, it also got a likeable lead and it is a superbly made film which is really intriguing.

8.Terminator 2: Judgment Day

A cyborg, identical to the one who failed to kill Sarah Connor, must now protect her ten years old son John from a more advanced and powerful cyborg. Definitely a thrill ride type of film and with James Cameron at the helm, a brilliant soundtrack, the visual is truly astonishing and a perfect villain and that is the key to this film as it certainly work.

7.The River Wild

Gail is a professional at water rafting, she twigs every day, and she is in very good shape. She takes her family on a rafting trip down the river, but she has no idea that the planned trip is about to become a nightmare. Generally exciting and with a good cast that bring you a gripping and a tense film, it is certainly watchable from start to finish and this film definitely worth your time.

6.Speed

A young police officer must prevent a bomb exploding aboard a city bus by keeping its speed above 50 mph. Being an action film that is sheer entertaining from the first frame and it has got a all star cast that bring you excitement, Dennis Hopper is perfectly sinister as the villain and this film is the ultimate action film as it is fun and edge of your seat with amazing set pieces.

5.Homeward Bound (1993 – 1996)

Shadow, Sassy, and Chance are back! It’s been three years since their trek through the woods and over the mountains, Now the family lives in San Francisco and they’re taking a vacation in Canada. Everything about this family film will drawn you in as this haven’t got any swearing or violence whatsoever, it just a beautiful film with a really nice story and this is pure escapism.

4.The Mask

Bank clerk Stanley Ipkiss comes into possession him into his inner personality. Soon, the bumbling clerk becomes an unconventional superhero in search of justice and a good time too. Fantastic looking film with cartoon type of violence, Jim Carrey is excellent as the likeable lead and the CGI/SFX is truly remarkable, in a fast and furious film that is surreal but in a good way.

3.Jurassic Park

A pragmatic palaeontologist touring an almost complete theme park on an island in Central America is tasked with protecting a couple of kids after a power failure causes the park’s cloned dinosaurs to run loose. Having been made as a franchise this one started it all and it still remains the best one in the series, Steven Spielberg crafted a superb film with tense moment and with jump scares, the set pieces will certainly leave you breathless and it is exciting.

2.The Sixth Sense

A frightened, withdrawn Philadelphia boy who communicates with spirits seeks the help of a disheartened child psychologist. Claustrophobic, suspense, and totally unpredictable psychological horror movies which is one of the best, the acting is amazing and overall it will leaves you a lasting impression on you as this is totally memorable.

1.The Lion King

A young lion prince is born in Africa, thus making his uncle Scar the second in line to be throne. Scar plots with the hyenas to kill King Mufasa and Prince Simba, thus making himself king. Joyous and uplifting film that will capture people heart, I actually growing up watching this film and the soundtrack is truly spectacular, it is sad but it also a pick me up type of film and all ages will like this film.
