August Pullman, born with facial differences that, up until now, have prevented him from going to a mainstream school, Auggie becomes the most unlikely of heroes when he enters the local fifth grade. A sweet and a good nature film that is well intentioned and the acting is superb and especially Jacob Trembley, it also got nice moment in this film and overall, this is a well-made film.

The story of a team of female African – American mathematicians who served a vital role in NASA during the early years of the U.S. space program. Being based on a true story as this film got three likeable leads, the pacing is just right and it certainly hold your interest, it is definitely intriguing in an insightful film that dealing with race.

8.Edward Scissorhands

An artificial man, who was incompletely constructed and has scissors for hands, leads a solitary life. Then one day, a suburban lady meets him and introduces him to her world. Dreamlike type of film with an anti – bullying message which work really well, it also got a likeable lead and it is a superbly made film which is really intriguing.

7.Monsters Vs Aliens

A woman transformed into a giant after she is stuck by a meteorite on her wedding day becomes part of a dream of monsters sent in by the U.S. government to defeat an alien mastermind trying to take over Earth. In some ways this film is about self – image and it doesn’t matter what you look like, the story itself is magnificent and the vocal talent brim with comic one liner and it is entertaining and a heartfelt film.

6.Rising Phoenix

The history and current standing of the Paralympic Games, which has grown to become the world’s third largest sporting event. Everything about this documentary ticked all the boxes as it is truly inspirational and life affirming, it is extremely powerful and emotional but in a good way as it is not too sentimental. It basically about people with amputation and they are good people and tell us about their obstacles in their lives, it is one of the best documentaries that out there.

5.The Secret Garden

A young, recently orphaned girl is sent to England after living in India all of her life. Once there, she begins to explore her new, seemingly isolated surroundings, and its secrets. Calming type of film, which is fantastic looking, it also deals with friendship that is refreshing to see and their chemistry together is really good. It is one of those film that is simply simple but yet it is a beautiful film.

4.Beauty & The Beast

A selfish prince is cursed to become a monster for the rest of his life, unless he learns to fall in love with a beautiful young woman. Fabulous visual and with stunning CGI/SFX made this musical memorable, the musical set pieces are absolutely amazing and eye catching at the same time, all the casting is perfect in this pure escapism which you needed.

3.A Secret Love

Falling in love in 1947, two women Pat Henschel and pro baseball player Terry Donahue begin a 65-year journey of love and overcoming prejudice. Genuinely an important subject matter as this is a fascinating documentary, it often moving and being sincere as this is generally touching and you actually feel for them, overall, this is memorable and it also intriguing to watch.

2.My Neighbor Totoro

When two girls move to the country to be near their ailing mother, they have adventures with the wonderous forest spirits who live nearby. Having watched this for the time I was moved by it and it is really touching, it also deals with growing up and your adolescent plus learning a culture that you never knew, it is wonderful and the animation look gorgeous and it is thoroughly endearing.

1.Zootropolis

In a city of anthropomorphic animals, a rookie bunny cop and a cynical con artist fox must work together to uncover a conspiracy. Just brilliant as this animation film try to be something different which I admire, the vocal talent is superb and brim with comic one liner and it is definitely laugh out loud funny, it also suitable for all ages and a family viewing and it also about diversity in general.
