10.Narnia (2005 – 2010)

Four kids travel through a wardrobe to the land of Narnia and learn of their destiny of their lives and go on a trek and travel through to other worlds. Majestic looking film which capture your imagination and it is well casted, the story is fantastic and really simple to follow and it is definitely engrossing from start to finish.

9.John Carter

John Carter, a civil War veteran, who in 1868 was trying to live a normal life, is asked by the Army to join, but he refuses so he is locked up. He escapes and go on the run and hide in a cave and he somehow transported to Mars. This is one of those film that will divided people and it has got amazing CGI/SFX, it also got a likeable lead and the pacing is just perfect and it is enjoyable.

 8.Avatar

A paraplegic Marine dispatched to the moon Pandora on a unique mission becomes torn between following his orders and protecting the world he feels is his home. For me personally the scenery for this film look absolutely amazing, as this film is lengthy the pacing is just right and it does hold your interest, it also got an all – star cast and they are really convincing in their roles.

7.City Of Ember

For generations, the people of the City of Ember have flourished in an amazing world of glittering lights. But Ember’s once powerful generator is failing and the great lamp that illuminate the city are starting to flicker. A rip – roaring adventure film that definitely watchable from the first frame and it will thrilled you, you will enjoyed this as it is definitely underrated and a gem of a film.

6.Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory

A poor but hopeful boy seeks one of the five coveted golden tickets that will send him on a tour of Willy Wonka’s mysterious chocolate factory. With catchy tunes and with a colourful world that is so intriguing, my personal favourite is Pure Imagination and Gene Wilder really capture his role as he is magnificent, this is suitable for a family viewing and it really capture your imagination.

5.Hugo

In 1931 Paris, an orphan living in the walls of a train station gets wrapped up in a mystery involving his late father and an automaton. I’m not normally a massive fan of Martin Scorsese but this film is actually really good, this is just a really nice film and it is uplifting and it will put a smile on your face, it also got a cast and it is definitely a watchable film.

4.My Octopus Teacher

A filmmaker forges an unusual friendship with an octopus living in a South African kelp forest, learning as the animal shares the mysteries of her world. Beautifully done as this film is quietly powerful and an eye opener, the underwater shot is amazing and the scenery is certainly outstanding, it is definitely memorable and it will draw you in automatically.

3.Kubo And The Two Strings

A young boy named Kubo must locate a magical suit of armour worn by his late father in order to defeat a vengeful spirit from the past. Visually it is fantastic to watch and overall this will wowed you with a poignancy ending, it also life affirming as it is about finding yourself and your purpose to this world, I’m sure people will connect to this message and the vocal talent is certainly spot on.

2.Gravity

Dr Ryan Stone and Matt Kowalski work together to survive after an accident leaves them stranded in space. One of the best action film which is utterly compelling and it is definitely entertaining from the start, Sandra Bullock and George Clooney got really good chemistry together and that is the key to this film, it is believable and so realistic and it might be rather short, it is the ultimate action film.

1.WALL.E

In the distant future, a small waste – collecting robot inadvertently embarks on a space journey that will ultimately decide the fate of mankind. Definitely the best PIXAR film as this is just cute, funny, and charming film, it will moved you and it is generally sincere and it got characters that you actually cared about, the animation itself look stunning and it is suitable for all ages and a family viewing.
