5.My Week With Marilyn
In 1956, a young Oxford graduate Colin Clark has dreams of getting into movies and eventually named Third Assistant Director. It all drives Olivier a bit mad and he assigns Colin to supervise Marilyn Monroe and make sure she gets to work on time. Too be honest with you I wasn’t sure about this film at first, but once I think about it, it actually a well-made film with a good cast and overall this film is likeable.
4.The Aeronauts
A balloon pilot and a scientist find themselves in a fight for survival while attempting to make discoveries in a gas balloon in the 1860s. With stunning scenery and it is generally gripping and exciting at the same time, it also very character driven and it will certainly draw you in and you actually care for the main two lead, it never get too overcomplicated as it flip back and forth and it gel and it flow really well, it is definitely watchable from start to finish.
3.Early Man
Dug, along with sidekick Hognob as they unite his tribe against a mighty enemy Lord Nooth and his Bronze Age City to save their home. Joyous and uplifting film that will put a smile to your face and it is a true underdog type of film, the vocal talent is outstanding and brim with comic one liner and it just a really nice film, it also an all-British animation film and it is suitable for all ages.
2.The Danish Girl
A fictitious love story loosely inspired by the lives of Danish artist Lili Elbe and Gerda Wegener, Lili and Gerda’s marriage and work evolve as they navigate Lili’s ground-breaking journey as a transgender pioneer. An important film that is about appearances and what you look like and it is beautifully done, the acting is amazing and it will moved you as it is sincere and an honest film
1.The Theory Of Everything
In early 1960s Cambridge, the cosmology student, Stephen Hawking, meet the medieval Spanish poetry student Jane Wilde. He marry Jane and eventually he found out he got motor neuron disease. One of my personal favourite film as I actually connect with this film and it basically about overcome so many obstacles in your life, I’m sure people will connect to that message as it is engrossing and it will hold your interest, the acting is superb and it will leaves you a lasting impression on you.
