  1. Good list Mark. Not much to add. Just a couple of suggestions.
Not universally popular but I liked the film version of Dad’s Army in which Bill Nighy played Arthur Wilson.
I also liked him in Auf Wiedersehen Pet when he played a dodgy politician who had been in prison with Oz.

  2. I have seen Dad’s Army the movie and I wasn’t really a massive fan; I also not so keen on the program itself as I seen bits and pieces of the show. I have heard of Auf Wiedersehen Pet, but I haven’t seen any episode.
