10.Dora And The Lost City Of Gold
Dora, a teenage explorer, leads her friends on an adventure to save her parents and solve the mystery behind a lost city of gold. This will definitely divided people as some will like this and some don’t but I definitely enjoy this film, this has got an easy-to-follow story and the main lead is likeable plus this is generally heartfelt, it also balance the darker element with the comedy aspect and that work really well, it also a feel-good and a family viewing type of film.
9.School Of Rock
After being kicked out of his rock band, Dewey Finn becomes a substitute teach of an uptight elementary private school, only to try and turn his class into a rock band. An underdog type of film which is joyous and uplifting, the acting in general is really good and totally believable and it will pull a smile to people faces, it is one of those film which is well – made and it is well – meaning.
8.Fighting With My Family
A former wrestler and his family make a living performing at small venues around the country while his kids dream of joining World Wrestling Entertainment. A beautiful coming of age film that is so relatable, it about never giving up and chasing your dream and I personally connect to that message, I’m sure people will connect to that message as well and it is simply moving but it never feel forced, it is not too sentimental and this film will touch your heart and it is heartfelt.
7.Beauty And The Beast
A selfish prince is cursed to become a monster for the rest of his life, unless he learns to fall in love with a beautifully young woman he keeps prisoner. With amazing CGI/SFX that look magnificent and the story itself is beautiful, the musical element is spectacular and it certainly drawn you in from the start, it got an all – star cast and this is colourful and vibrant plus this is eye catching.
6.Yesterday
A struggling musician realizes he’s the only person on Earth who can remember The Beatles after waking up in an alternate reality where they never existed. It is one of those film that is joyous and uplifting and this is generally funny, for me personally it’s the acting that is so convincing in this film and it is a really nice film, overall this enjoyable and this is watchable from start to finish.
5.Black Beauty (2020)
A wild horse and a teenage girl forge an unbreakable bond which keeps them connected for a lifetime. Perfectly paced film which is relatable and you actually care about with these characters, the scenery look fantastic and it drawn you in from start to finish and it about growing up and adolescent, this is a memorable and this is moving plus it is sincere and overall it’s a comfort type of film.
4.Jiro Dreams Of Sushi
A documentary on 85-year-old sushi master Jiro Ono, his renowned Tokyo restaurant, and his relationship with his son and eventual heir, Yoshikazu. Surprisingly I actually really enjoy this documentary, it will charm you and this can be really powerful and it is definitely one of the best documentary, it also made you smile and this is fascinating and insightful, plus you don’t have to be a fan of cooking or into sushi, this is just uplifting and it got a feel-good type of vibe.
3.Wallace & Gromit: The Curse Of The Were – Rabbit
Wallace and his loyal dog, Gromit, set out to discover the mystery behind the garden sabotage that plagues their village and threatens the annual giant vegetable growing contest. Laugh out loud funny and action-packed film, it got great characters and this is so memorable and this is just a really nice film, the other thing is, it never get too dark for the younger generation and this is watchable.
2.The Call Of The Wild
As the great Klondike Gold Rush is attracting both ambitious treasure hunters and bold adventurers to the unforgiving territories of Canada’s late 1890s Yukon, Buck, a pampered St. Bernard – Scotch Collie dog, finds himself without a master in a frozen new world. With stunning scenery and this is a gorgeous looking film, with this film you can go on a journey from the dog perspective and it has got a beautiful soundtrack, it will touch people heart and this is silently powerful.
1.Ferdinand
After Ferdinand, a bull with a big heart, is mistaken for a dangerous beast, he is captured and torn from his home. Determined to return to his family, he rallies a misfit team on the ultimate adventure. My personal favourite film as the moral is being different and be an individuals and I personally connect to that message, the vocal in this film is superb and brim with comic one liner and this is one of the best animation film, as this is heart-warming and it is a cute film.
