10.Enchanted
A young maiden in a land called Andalasia, who is prepared to be wed, is sent away to New York City by an evil Queen, where she falls in love with a lawyer. This will definitely divided people but I really enjoy this film, it got amazing CGI/SFX that look magnificent as this is a charming film which is pure escapism, the songs are generally catchy and the villain is totally memorable and the film in general is really cute.
9.Moonshot
Two college students as they join forces in order to be reunited with their significant others, embarking on a lively journey that takes them wildly off course. It is one of those film with a great idea and you actually care with these characters, it blended the science fiction with the romantic aspect and that work really well, it might be too predictable but it will moved you.
8.Eddie The Eagle
The story of Eddie Edwards, the notoriously tenacious British underdog ski jumper who charmed the world at the 1988 Winter Olympics. An underdog type of film that is uplifting and joyous at the same time, the casting is brilliant and they are convincing in this feel-good type of film that will made you smile, it also got a likeable lead and it is general funny plus it is heartfelt.
7.Hugo
In 1931 Paris, an orphan living in the walls of a train station gets wrapped up in a mystery involving his late father and an automation. Not normally a massive fan of Martin Scorsese but this one is definitely his best film, this is just a really nice film as this will drawn you in from start to finish as this is superbly made, it got an all star cast and they are really convincing and this is simply a cute film.
6.Sunshine On Leith
Two Scottish soldiers return from a tour of duty into their hometown Leith. We witness the trials and tribulations as we follow the love lives of both soldiers and their families as they all come to terms with a life out of the war – zone. Charming and a really cute film that is simply a beautiful film, for me personally it’s the acting that made this film work and it is well meaning and it is inoffensive, the songs is catchy and often powerful and this is so watchable.
5.Eat Prey Love
A married woman realizes how unhappy her marriage really is, and that her life needs to go in a different direction. After a painful divorce, she takes off on around the world journey to find herself. Perfectly paced film which about life in general and this is well casted, it also a relatable film as it about finding yourself and I’m sure people will connect to that message, this a beautiful film that doesn’t feel forced, this will moved you as this is a feel-good type of film.
4.Charlotte’s Web
Wilbur the pig is scared of the end of the season, because he knows that come that time, he will end up on the dinner table. He hatches a plan with Charlotte, a spider that lives in his pen, to ensure that this will never happen. Not really suitable for cynical type of person but this is a family viewing film, it got a likeable lead and the vocal talent in this film is spot on, it also got a nice story.
3.The Polar Express
On Christmas Eve, a young boy embarks on a magical adventure to the North Pole on the Polar Express, while learning about friendship, bravery, and the spirit of Christmas. Eye catching and an exciting film that is entertaining, it has got stunning scenery and it has got an easy-to-follow story that will capture your imagination, for me personally this is so underrated as the visual is superb.
2.Paddington (2014 – 2017)
Having settled with the Brown family in Windsor Gardens, Paddington has become popular in his community, offering people emotional support in various ways. Laugh out loud funny and this is suitable for all ages, it is one of those film that you can revisit anytime as both films are watchable and pure escapism, it also a beautiful and charming film which are likeable from start to finish.
1.Ratatouille
A rat named Remy who can cook makes an unusual alliance with a young kitchen worker at a famous Paris restaurant. One of the best Pixar film as this is suitable for all ages and a family viewing film, the vocal in this film is superb and brim with comic one liner, as this is funny and heartfelt at the same time, it also about chasing your dream and I personally connect with that message as this film is relatable, it is pure escapism and this is superbly made and it is enjoyable.
