The Outfit

Leonard is an expect cutter must outwit a dangerous group of mobsters in order to survive a fateful night. I really wanted to like this and it is one of those film that is hard to get into but the acting is absolutely amazing, I love the story to this film and it is well made. Unfortunately it feels like a stage play than a proper film and it just doesn’t really work and the pacing is all wrong, it also got potential and it just doesn’t deliver and that is a real shame.

Assassin’s Creed (2016)

Callum Lynch explores the memories of his ancestor Aguilar de Nerha and gains the skills of a Master Assassin, before taking on the secret Templar society. Personally I love the story to this film and it is well made with an all-star cast, I also love that type of genre so I thought I going to enjoy it, but unfortunately it getting too overcomplicated with the flashback element and the main lead is rather bland, it doesn’t really made you think as it is too straightforward as there is no twist at all, it too predictable and it just doesn’t deliver and that is a real shame.

Fantastic Beast: The Secrets Of Dumbledore

Professor Albus Dumbledore must assist Newt Scamander and his partners as Grindelwald begins to lead an army to eliminate all Muggles. Gorgeous looking film with stunning scenery and this film is entertaining from start to finish, the casting is spot on despite the villain isn’t as memorable and it feel too safe, it is generally funny and brim with comic one liner and the CGI/SFX is amazing, it just feel too predictable and it doesn’t offer you anything new but despite that is still enjoyable.

The One And Only Ivan

A gorilla named I van tries to piece together his past with the help of an elephant named Ruby as they hatch a plan to escape from captivity. A well-meaning film with a good story and overall, this is fun, it can be moving but it feel a bit forced mildly occasionally and I found the vocal a bit miscast, the only memorable one is Danny De Vito as he is superb but the rest of the vocal is a bit bland and it is enjoyable, it just feels slightly predictable but it still a likeable film.

My Father’s Dragon

Elmer Elevator searches for a captive dragon on Wild Island and finds much more than he could ever have anticipated. Stunning looking animation film and this is suitable for all ages and a family viewing type of film, it can be moving and silently powerful especially toward the end and the story is beautiful, unfortunately it doesn’t gel together and it loses a bit of momentum and it sort of falters from the start, despite that it still a beautiful film and it is eye catching.

Unstoppable

With an unmanned, half mile long freight train barreling toward a city, a veteran engineer and a young conductor race against the clock to prevent a catastrophe. Definitely one of the best action film and it has got amazing set pieces, it also character driven as the two main lead is likeable and relatable. It also got a good story and this is generally exciting and this is watchable and it certainly hold your interest, this is entertaining and this the ultimate action film.
