Some people will like this, and some don’t as this can be too predictable, it also got a fantastic cast and they are really convincing in their roles, and it is a likeable film plus overall this is a well-meaning film and this is generally heartfelt.

9.The Hundred – Foot Journey

The Kadam family leaves India for France where they open a restaurant directly across the road from Madame Mallory’s Michelin – starred eatery. A well made film which is uplifting and a joyous type of film, the story and the casting is spot on and it also deal with the culture and the diversity aspect which is important, it also bring you a smile to people faces as it is a feel good type of film and I think personally you needed that in a film.

8.Words On Bathroom Walls

Diagnosed with a mental illness halfway through his senior year of high school, a witty, introspective teen struggles to keep it a secret while falling in love with a brilliant classmate who inspires him not to be defined by his condition. It is one of those film that doesn’t feel forced and not too sentimental, you actually care with these characters and the main lead is likeable, the moral is the appreciation of your families and friends and I can connect with that message, I also think it one of those film that is relatable to people and it is quietly powerful.

7.The Conjuring 2

Ed and Lorraine Warren travel to North London to help a single mother raising four children alone in a house plagued by a supernatural spirit. One of those film that will creep you under your skin, sequels can often be the weakest one but with this one it definitely the best one alongside with the first one, this is totally memorable and overall it drawn you in from start to finish, if you really into psychological horror film this is ideal for you.

6.Dreamland (2019)

Eugene Evans dreams of escaping his small Texas town when he discovers a wounded fugitive bank robber that he fallen in love with, Eugene must make a decision that will forever affect the lives of everyone he’s ever loved. A slow burner film that certainly hold your interest as the pacing is perfect, the main two lead got superb chemistry together and it has got stunning scenery, the story and the characters made this film totally memorable and this is well made.

5.Those Who Wish Me Dead

A teenage murder witness finds himself pursued by twin assassins in the Montana wilderness with a survival expert tasked with protecting him and a forest fire threatening to consume them all. Character driven action film with a good story and it is generally exciting plus this is eye catching, it certainly hold your interest and the characters are relatable, it got good set pieces and this is actually surprisingly really good.

4.The Electrical Life Of Louis Wain

English artist Louis Wain rises to prominence at the end of the 19th century for his surreal cat paintings that seemed to reflect his declining sanity. Not all people will like this film as it can be rather surreal and weird but it needed that, it definitely one of the best Benedict Cumberbatch film as everyone in this film is spot on, the ending is beautiful and it is silently powerful and I really admire this film as it try to be something different, it is truly unique and memorable.

3.The Bad Guys

To avoid prison, a gang of notorious animal criminals pretends to seek being rehabilitated, only for their leader to realize that he genuinely wants to change his ways. Too be honest with you I was blown away by this film as this is simply heartfelt, it is funny and it brim with comic one liner and the vocal in this film is superb, the moral is appearances and it doesn’t matter what you look like and I connect with that message, it is action packed but it never loses the story and that is the key to this film.

2.Motherless Brooklyn

In 1950s New York, a lonely private detective afflicted with Tourette’s Syndrome ventures to solve the murder of his mentor and only friends. With the ending to this film it will moved you and it never gets too overcomplicated with the flashback element, it also got an all star cast and they all really good and this is certainly gripping, the pacing to this film is perfect and it certainly hold your interest and it never boring, it will drawn you in and it will leaves you a lasting impression on you.

1.Ratatouille

A rat named Remy who can cook makes an unusual alliance with a young kitchen worker at a famous Paris restaurant. Definitely one of the best Pixar film as this is charming and it made you smile at the same time, it also suitable for all ages and a family viewing type of film and this is definitely pure escapism, it is one of those film that is suitable for a rainy day type of film and it has got stunning scenery, it just a really nice film as this likeable and it got great characters.
