Devastated and lonely, a widower decides to take a drastic step. However, his plans are disrupted by a lively family that moves in next door. It might not be a perfect film but it still watchable. The acting is convincing and believable as they all convince in their roles, it does deals with sensitive topic of suicide; this is a real tearjerker, it will draws you in from start to finish as this is suitable for late teens, overall this film is well – made.
9.Nonnas
After losing his beloved mother, a man risks everything to honour her by opening an Italian restaurant with actual grandmothers as the chefs. Having watched this film I thought it was pretty good. The casting is spot on and believable as they all convince in their roles, the message of this film is chasing your dream with the personal journey aspect, that what made this film a real tearjerker, this is suitable for early teens as this is an uplifting film.
8.Titanic (1997)
A young aristocrat falls in love with a poor artist aboard the luxurious, ill – fated RMS Titanic. Gorgeous looking film with stunning scenery. It feels like an epic type of film that will certainly draw you in, the ending will move you as this is a love story at the core of this film, this is suitable for late teens as this is a tearjerker film, this is superbly made.
7.The Fault In Our Stars
Two teenagers with cancer meet at a support group and form a romantic connection. Their journey explores love, illness, and the pursuit of meaning despite life’s fragility. Fantastic soundtrack to this film. This is silently powerful and heartfelt at the same time, the two main stars got excellent chemistry together, it suitable for early teens as this is a young adult film, it deals with death, grief and life in general; it will surprise people.
6.The Pursuit Of Happyness
A struggling salesman takes custody of his son as he’s poised to begin a life – changing professional career. Just breathtakingly beautiful as it will touch people heart. It could be hard to watch for some people as it deals with homelessness, this is suitable for late teens because of that reason, the acting is amazing as it is believable, this is a beautiful film.
5.The Bucket List
Two terminally ill men escape from a cancer ward and head off on a road trip with a wish list of to – dos before they die. Don’t judge this film as it about terminal illness. This is more heartwarming and heartfelt at the same time, Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson got brilliant chemistry together, it deals with life and the unlikely friendship aspect; it also suitable for early teens, this is a real tearjerker and it has got a beautiful ending.
4.We Bought A Zoo
Set in Southern California, a father moves his young family to the countryside to renovate and re – open a struggling zoo. Calming type of film which you needed in this world. It has got an all star cast, this actually based on a true story which I didn’t know; it about moving on with your life and it does deals with death, this is a real tearjerker as this is suitable for late teens, it never feels forced or too sentimental and that is the key to this film.
3.The Wild Robot
A sentient robot stranded on an uninhabited island raises an orphaned gosling while trying to fit in with the local wildlife. Eye catching animation film with stunning scenery. It has got an environmental message with the meaning of home aspect, this is a real tearjerker and this is suitable for preteens, it is perfectly watchable from the start; this is an inoffensive film that will capture people heart, this is suitable for all ages and a family viewing.
2.The Half Of It
When smart but cash – strapped teen Ellie Chu agrees to write a love letter for a jock, she doesn’t expect to become his friend – or fall for his crush. Being a LGBTQ film this is a real tearjerker especially the ending. This is suitable for late teens and overall this is a beautiful coming of age film, you will care about with these characters, it is funny and heartwarming at the same time, it will leave you a lasting impression on you as this is memorable.

After a young girl is uprooted from her Midwest life and moved to San Francisco, her emotions conflict on how best to navigate her new reality. A film that close to my heart and it will leave you a lasting impression on you. it about mental health and childhood at the same time, this is suitable for preteens as this can be funny and heartwarming, the characters are great and memorable, it suitable for all ages and a family viewing.
