5.Slumberland
A young girl discovers a secret map to the dreamworld of Slumberland, and with the help of an eccentric outlaw, she traverses dreams and flees nightmares, with the hope that she will be able to see her late father again. Visually amazing as this is an eye-catching film. It has got some nice moment in this film, the story and the idea behind this film is superb, the chemistry between the two lead is brilliant, silently this is enjoyable and a heartfelt film.
4.The Seeker: The Dark Is Rising
A boy’s life is turned upside down when he learns that he is the last of a group of immortal warriors who have dedicated their lives to fighting the forces of the dark. Zestful magical adventure film that will divide people. It has got amazing set pieces as this is exciting and entertaining, it also got the time travel aspect and that is refreshing, this never gets too overcomplicated and that is the key, overall this is pretty good film with a good story.
3.A Boy Called Christmas
In this origin story of Father Christmas, an ordinary boy with a loyal pet mouse and a reindeer at his side set out on an extraordinary adventure to find his father, who is on a quest to discover the fabled village of Elfhelm. Xmas adventure film that will divide people. The CGI/ SFX is truly outstanding, it can flip back and forth without being too overcomplicated, this is another eye-catching film, In general this film is suitable for all ages.
2.The Water Man
A boy sets out on a quest to save his ill mother by searching for a mythic figure said to have magical healing powers. You will care about with these characters as it got that emotional aspect. It never feels forced or too sentimental and that is the key: it has got stunning scenery and it will draw you in, this has got a multilayered story and it does delve deep into the mythological aspects, the acting is totally believable, this film will surprised many people.
1.City Of Ember
The main generator in the City of Ember, a post – apocalyptic underground city, is beginning to fail. Two teenagers must unlock an ancient mystery before the lights go out for good. Underrated adventure film that will draw you in. The main two lead got excellent chemistry together, this is another film which has got a multilayered story, once you watched this film you will always remember this, it feels like an epic style of film with a brilliant ending.
