5.Dreambuilders
Minna, a young girl, misuses her newfound ability to create and control other people’s dreams to teach her bothersome stepsister a lesson. I admire this film as it tries to be something different. It deals with divorce and parental separation and that is an important subject, the vocal in this film is spot on, the ending will move you as this is quietly powerful; it might not be for everyone but this is memorable, it will surprised many people.
4.The Black Cauldron
A young boy and a group of misfit friends embark on a quest to find a dark magic item of ultimate power before a diabolical tyrant can. Not your usual Disney film and that is refreshing. This isn’t a musical and the story behind this film is superb, the characters are memorable and the villain is perfectly sinister, the animation itself is gorgeous to look at; once you watch this film you will always remember this, it is worth watching this film.
3.Long Way North
In 1882, a young Russian aristocrat goes on an epic adventure to find out what happened to her grandfather and save her family’s reputation. Silently watchable film from start to finish. This is a historical animation film and that what draw you in, it has got amazing scenery and it will draw you in, it is surprisingly good film, I reckon it will surprised many people.
2.Away (2019)
A boy crashes and finds himself on a strange island with his motorbike, where he quickly befriends a bird. Together, they cross the various landscapes of the isle in search of their home. Visually amazing as this will draw you in from the start. This is another film with stunning scenery, it is a wordless film but for me personally it certainly works, once you watch this film you will always remember this, it feels epic and a thrill ride type of film.
1.Deep Sea (2023)
A girl strays into the dreamy deep-sea world. In the deepest part of the sea, all secrets are hidden. If you get past the surreal elements and the weirdness; this is a beautiful film. You will care about with these characters, it has got theme of mental health toward the end, it will leave you a lasting impression on you, it is heartfelt and it will touch people heart.
