5.Ladies First

A male chauvinist is transported to a matriarchal society, facing challenges from a formidable female version of himself. I admire this film that tries to be something different. It has got an all stars cast as they all convince in their roles, I do like the message of gender and sexism; I just wish it explored that aspect a bit more, the film itself lacks the charm as it is unfunny. It could have been more inspirational as it can feels rather safe; underneath it all there is a wonderful story and the idea is there, for me personally it didn’t quite deliver.
4.Me Before You

A girl in a small town forms an unlikely bond with a recently – paralyzed man she’s taking care of. The chemistry between the main two stars is spot on. The story and the acting is amazing; also the soundtrack is outstanding, it can feel slightly forced and it doesn’t gel or flow together as much, plus it falters just a little bit in the midsection; despite that this is perfectly watchable, it might not be a groundbreaking film it still pretty good.
3.The One and Only Ivan

A gorilla named Ivan tries to piece together his past with the help of an elephant named Ruby as they hatch a plan to escape from captivity. A cute and heartwarming film that will capture people heart. the story is simple and easy to follow, it not quite laughs out loud funny as it; it can feel slightly safe at the same time, despite that it still perfectly watchable; this isn’t a bad film despite of those flaws, overall this a pure escapism type of film.
2.The Beautiful Game

Advocates to end homelessness organize an annual tournament for homeless men to compete in a series of football matches known as The Homeless World Cup. This is a slow burner type of film which is refreshing. It is joyous and uplifting at the same time, the only thing with this film is the pacing as it can be slightly off, it is an underdog type of film which you needed, if you wanted a feel-good type of film this is ideal for you.
1.Wicked Little Letters

An Irish immigrant Rose Gooding and her former friend Edith Swan. After Edith accuses Rose of sending her countless disparaging, obscenity – filled letters. Too be honest with you I was surprised with this film. It might be sweary but if you get past that this is certainly memorable, the casting is perfect in their roles, I reckon people will surprised by this film.
