5.Boston Strangler (2023)
Based on the infamous Boston Strangler murders, this is the true story of Loretta McLaughlin, the first reporter to connect the murders and break the story of the strangler. One of those film that will draw you in. The acting is believable and totally convincing, it got twist and turn throughout this film, it also deals with sexism and that is important, this is superbly made.
4.Mr. Jones
Based on real events, a Welsh journalist breaks the news in the western media of the famine in Ukraine in the early 1930s. Personally this film surprised me as this is pretty good film. This is totally unpredictable and that is the key, it’s the story that will draw you in from start to finish, the casting is spot on as they all convince in their roles, this is well – made film.
3.Togo (2019)
The story of Togo, the sled dog who led the 1925 serum run despite being considered too small and weak to lead such an intense race. Needless to say this film doesn’t feel too forced or too sentimental. It feels like a thrill ride type of film as this feel epic, the scenery is outstanding and the film itself is certainly memorable, it does have the underdog element in this film; silently this film is genuinely powerful and it will move you, this is pretty good film.
2.Sound Of Freedom
The incredible true story of a former government agent turned vigilante who embarks on a dangerous mission to rescue hundreds of children from traffickers. Might be hard to watch for some people as it got a sensitive topic. It got that psychological elements which you needed in this film, it will creep you under your skin, overall this film is certainly memorable.

War photographer W. Eugene Smith travels back to Japan where he documents the devastating effect of mercury poisoning in coastal communities. Quietly powerful film that will move you from start to finish. It also got that psychological elements; it will creep you under your skin, the pacing is perfect as it does holds your interest, I didn’t know this film based on a true story and it inspires those people behind this film; it will leave you a lasting impression on you, once you watched this film you will always remember this.
