10.The Greatest Showman

Orphaned, disrespected yet brilliant. This is P.T Barnum, a showman on a mission for fame. But when he gambles his circus, his wife and daughters and all his money on the Swedish opera star Jenny Lind, things become treacherous for Barnum, will he leave everything he’s got behind. This is so uplifting with a beautiful starry cast and a well-made story, it got catchy and generally moving songs and all the cast surprisingly tuneful in this tale.

9.The Terminal

An Eastern European tourist unexpectedly finds himself stranded in JFK airport, and must take up temporary residence there. This is a feel-good film because by the end of the film it does made you half of a smile, Tom Hanks is exceptional as ever and Stanley Tucci is plain hilarious as the pantomime villain and it just a well intentional film with a good story.

8.Fast Girls

A street runner develops an intense rivalry with an equally ambitious wealthy young athlete. This is an all British film with the message of don’t give up on your dream and fight for it and don’t cave in, I can connect with that aspect in this film as the acting is brilliant and you would be rooting for the main stars by the end of the film as this is a feel good film and I’m sure all of you would love this.

7.The Intern

Seventy-year-old widower Ben Whittaker has discovered that retirement isn’t all its cracked up to be. Seizing an opportunity to get back in the game, he becomes a senior intern at an online fashion site, founded and run by Jules Ostin. This is just a nice film with a well-meaning story and the acting is spot on, it about an unlikely friendship as well.

6.Eddie The Eagle

The story of Eddie Edwards, the notoriously tenacious British underdog ski jumper who charmed the world at the 1988 Winter Olympics. This is so uplifting and the acting is spot on especially Taron Egerton, people can’t help it for actually rooting for the main stars in this well-meaning story. I can connect with this film because it about someone who chasing their dream and never ever giving up in life.

5.School of Rock

After being kicked out of his rock band, Dewey Finn becomes a substitute teacher at an uptight elementary private school, only to try and turn his class into a rock band. Jack Black recapture that kind of an eccentric, mad type of person but he did really well and the other casting are spot on. This is an underdog type of film that you would root for and this is general a feel-good film.

4.Monsters Inc./Monsters University

In a land of monsters, James P. Sullivan is king. He and his co-worker/ friend Mike Wazowski are two of the monsters that work for Monster Inc. In the second film is a prequel of there relationship and during their early day at Monsters University. Both films are generally funny and heartfelt and with superb voice cast and with a cute story,

 3.Hotel For Dogs

Two orphan kids as they attempt to hide dozens of stray dogs in an abandoned hotel despite their guardians not allow any dogs in their apartment. This is a sweet, heartfelt and generally beautiful film that everyone can connect with this. You don’t need to be a dog lover as this is suitable for a family film.

2.Earth To Echo

After receiving a bizarre series of encrypted messages, a group of kids embark on an adventure with an alien who needs their help. This is a beautiful, soulful and generally moving film that will touch everyone heart, it like an indie version of ET and a tale of friendships and moving on as well in this found footage type of film.

1.WALL – E

In the distant future, a small waste – collecting robot inadvertently embarks on a space journey that will ultimately decide the fate of mankind. This is an excellent film that will recapture people heart and it like a silent film at first with no sound, but suddenly he speak in this majestic and a magical journey that you would go on.

  1. Another interesting selection Mark. The only one I have seen is School of Rock! Another reminder that I need to watch Tom Hanks in Terminal.
