Mini Film Reviews Volume 34

Vivo

Vivo and Andres are the perfect duo through their common love of music. But when tragedy strikes shortly after Andres receives a letter from the famous Marta Sandoval, inviting her old partner to her farewell concert with the hope of reconnecting, It’s up to Vivo to deliver a message that Andres never could. Too be honest with you I thought this would be amazing but unfortunately it doesn’t reach the height of other animation films, the songs are not memorable and it is one of those animation film that it hard to connect with.

Monster Family 2

To free Baba Yaga and Renfield from the clutches of Monster Hunter Mila Starr, the Wishbone Family once more transforms into a vampire, Frankenstein’s Monster, a mummy, and a werewolf. Aided and abetted by their three pet bats. In some ways this is much better than the first one in this good-looking animation film, the thing is, it takes itself too seriously and with a weak story that doesn’t deliver, it is too safe.

Chaos Walking

Two unlikely companions embark on a perilous adventure though the Badlands of an unexplored planet as they try to escape a dangerous and disorienting reality where all thoughts are seen and heard by everyone. Really admire this film as this try to be something different and it is imaginative, it also got an emotional aspect to this film and the chemistry is perfect with the main lead, it also got a brilliant ending and the only thing is the villain is not memorable enough, but despite that it will draw you in from start to finish.

Worth

An attorney in Washington D.C. battles against cynicism, bureaucracy, and politics to help the victims of 9/11. Well-acted and with totally moving film that is so real and the story is excellent and well told. It might not reach the height of other politics films and Stanley Tucci is underused in this role, overall this is a well-intentioned film that certainly pay respect to the survivors of 9/11 that is certainly worthwhile a watch, in this watchable film.

The Addams Family 2

We find Morticia and Gomez distraught that their children are growing up, skipping family dinners, and totally consumed with “scream time”. To reclaim their bond they decide to cram Wednesday, Pugsley, Uncle Fester, and the crew into their haunted camper and hit the road for one last miserable family vacation. Definitely one of the better sequels that I actually enjoy and it is suitable for all ages, it is funny, endearing and moving at the same time and this is so enjoyable and overall it will entertained you, it can be slightly patches but it still amusing.

No Time To Die

James Bond has left active service. His peace is short – lived when Felix Leiter, an old friend from the CIA, turns up asking for help, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology. With stunning scenery, amazing set pieces and with a superb story in this gorgeous looking film, the start and the ending to this film is truly spectacular and the thing is the villain not memorable enough, it is too overlong and it loses some momentum in the middle of this film, it is certainly a thrilled ride type of film and it is entertaining.
